SWME Webinar 2024 - Water Quality

The South West Marine Ecosystems Water Quality Webinar reports on observations and changes in water quality over the past year (2023) with a focus on how water quality in our rivers has evolved over the last year, followed by information about available data, changes in Environment Agency monitoring, and how citizen science has changed recently to help build a picture about the state of the rivers and therefore state of the seas. The webinar will explore the emerging concerns about highway development and road runoff into our rivers. A case study from the Dart and Tavy River Bathing Waters Pilot will also be presented.
