These are such good tips, not just for dental positions but for any job that you're applying for.

Asking about next steps is super smart! I always feel like I should have a question for them, and I almost never do... Will be using this in the future!!

It's always a good idea to have some questions prepared for your potential new employers, so I would definitely come prepared with some. But if you can't think of a question or you get nervous and forget what your questions were, you can always say "I did have questions, but you answered them all!"

I don't think I've heard of sending a "thank you" note, that is actually a great idea and I'm sure its not really used much anymore. What a great idea to keep yourself on the front of their mind!

I've often been in the position where I have multiple places that I'm waiting to hear back from after interviews, and that makes it even harder to wait and practice patience! I could probably learn a thing or two from meditation.

Hadn't really thought about LinkedIn...I'll have to look into that.

Phone calls are a weak point for me, but only practice will make me stronger!

As much as I hate the stigma around cell phones, I definitely understand it. A good choice to just clarify with the interviewers why you need to use your phone! What about while you're waiting to go in for the interview? Would you recommend not using your phone while you wait, or is it okay to use it until they bring you back to talk?

It's probably OK so long as you're not making any noise that disturbs the people around you. Great question!

If you're trying to follow up after an interview that was conducted by multiple interviewers, should you reach out to all of them individually? I'm sure if you're emailing, it'd be easy to include everyone in one message, but what about if you're following up with a phone call or the thank you note like you suggested? Would it look pushy to reach out to each of them individually?

You can absolutely send one message to multiple interviewers for your thank you note. If you're snail mailing the thank you note, then you can address it to the team. If you're doing a phone call follow up, then I would suggest contacting the main person you've been communicating with about the position and who is likely responsible for coordinating it - there's normally one person who coordinates the application process, so I would follow up with that person.
