Thanks for the shoutout! Sounding amazing as always, man. I absolutely love mini humbuckers-such sweet pickups, and they really shine in that K-Line Guitar. Great tone!
Likewise, from your previous video, this is the guitar that stood out to me, they all sound great when you play them, I like the sound, looks, and pickup setup.
I think you sound great on any guitar.. but my favourites of yours are no doubt : - this one ; - the Del Mar ; - and, off course the Seth Baccus Shoreline ; The Silversky sounds great ! And although you seem, at least to me.. a Strat guy, i keep preferring you on a Tele. I'm a Tele guy, so it might be my bias... hehehe :P .
I always wanted a sunburst jaguar and/or a sky blue mustang like Kurt Cobain (still do) but after reading up on the two types of guitar felt the stock controls/wiring in them were too fussy for playing rock music - probably why so many gut/reconfigure the electronics Was a Fender-style hardtail an option before settling on the tune-o-matic bridge for your K-Line? Just curious as I’d have thought that would’ve more “home” to you
Maybe you should invest in a storage system or rack where you can pull out guitar much like you would a book from a bookshelf? Or a tool off a pegboard? Just a thought.
I was already thinking this one sounds really good while watching your previous video. I think it's the slightly fatter sound of the mini-humbucker / firebird pickup (which is also a type of humbucker).
That is a very nice guitar for sure. Hope you can try at some point a Novo guitar. Every video ive seen of those are fantstic, and have that JM style of shape.
Sadly the price of that guitar is more than what my conscience allows and what my talent requires, hahaha, but I'm looking for something "similar" , I thought about a MiM Fender Jag player II and change the single coils for humbuckers but after watching u playing this guitar I thought about minihumbuckers and it seems a good choice , but I haven't decided yet bc the Yamaha Revstar is spinning around my head too . The reality is that I like to have only the guitars that I can play in a cycle , to have guitars that I don't play it's something that I don't want to do, is not even about money bc today you can have 20 guitars for the price of that San Bernardino , hahaha. I'm new to the channel and I never saw that guitar before this Friday but I think it's a good addition to the cycle of guitars you play in the channel .
This guitar would not be on my hardly gets played list lol, i was on the K-Line site a few hours ago looking at these, this pick up configuration with a Vintage trem had me thinking crazy thoughts. Also killer jam!
I hope my complaints about you selling things made you think twice about whether it's a good idea :) I have 4 guitars. The thought of losing one of them makes me feel a little seasick. 1 is a beat up Dean Evo from 2007. 2 of them wouldn't retail over 400 bucks and came from overseas to be modded. The fourth is the only Fender I have: a Mexican Vintera Mod 60s in Olympic White. My wife had it custom painted on the back with Cloud and Sephiroth battling it out. So the retail value of that likely doesn't fetch anything either. I will never sell one of these and I will likely buy fewer than 5 more for the rest of my lifespan. I say enjoy what you have and build your collection without becoming some over-collector. You'll literally save so much money and the pieces of wood will mean that much more to you.
I think selling things is an important part of the guitar journey too! Sometimes I think having tried lots of guitars gives me a better sense of what I like and what works for me?
@johnnathancordy I think you have a better case for it as a gigging musician. Your tastes vary more and you will find something bigger and better more often. Once the collection starts to take away from living space, I suppose that's when selling enters the journey. Haha

The San Bernardino really stood out to me in the intro of your last video. Sounds great with your style of playing.
My fav guitar you own :D I love seeing it

Nice a little Fleetwood Mac vibe..
The luxury of having an amazing guitar but barely playing it. Spare a thought for the rest of us John
Many thoughts spared sir Brian!
@johnnathancordy happy to take it off your hands John!
Yes, you should. And don't forget the Del Mar. They are both great offset K-Line's

I may be able to try one soon hopefully if I can organise something actually!
@@johnnathancordy Nice! Looking forward to it! Is one of the few guitars left that give me GAS hehe.
My fav is the Cordy tele!
Really nice piece, cool! I was also thinking about this one after the last video - smart pick-up combo for sure - very attractive guitar as well!
Nice Tone all the way around!!!

I don’t understand why folks on RUclips demo products like this and refuse to link to the maker’s or product website.
Super annoying.
I could help you sound better. If you let me.
Not the most graceful switch from slide to regular playing. Looks like you need a magnetic holder like paul Gilbert
