man, i remember when i first landed in bangkok to meet a friend who was allready there. first i landed there from germany, and they lost my backpack and then my friend also gave me the wrong address to his hotel so i ended up somewhere... it was a mess... your arrival looked waaaay smoother :D but one thing i will never forgett is the wall of warm air i walked in when leaving the airport. :D
Another option to get into the city is to take a train, SRT Red Line, from Don Muang Airport into the City, it should take you to Krung Thep Aphiwat (New Bangkok Grand Station) where you can then connect to the MRT
The driver and driver's assistant (who collects the bus fare) will announce it. Also you will notice it as majority of the passengers will get off at this point.
Thanks Roberto for the quick video!! A few question (1st timer to Bangkok soon, so trying to know more): 1) How was the experience using Dtac sim card? Or would you recommend other brands such as True5G or other Esim brands as seen on Klook? 2) Since your final destination was Nana station, why did you take the A2 bus to Mo Chit instead of Ari station directly? As Ari station is a few stops nearer to Nana 3) Which location did you stayed in Nana area? Mind sharing the location, as I'm surveying some places...Any suggestions on where to stay as well? Thanks in advance!!!
@@ng5437 hello thanks for watching. To answer you: 1. I had a great experience with dtac coverage. Be mindful if your phone is compatible to esim. Mine is not hence i used physical sim card. 2. I didnt know it stops at Ari the a2 bus. But still i would prefer via mochit to avoid spending long time on road traffic. 3. I stayed on soi 3 just right next to Nana Square. Few hundreds away is Nana boat canal station to have another transpo option via water.
Did the atm charge 220 bhat or so while you withdrew money ? I heard that atms in thailand do charge you even if your card is a zero forex card. Is it true ?
This clip is worth watching, worth following, and exciting about how you will travel.

Thank you, taking the bus to BTS is a great time saver. This is the first time I have come across this anywhere. Thanks again
@@sparkygirl9083 also this is the cheapest way of transportation option from airport to downtown. For only Baht 77 total (bus and bts combined).
