@@lilyrosethevtuberfan Could be, but I rather see it as separating techno and indus from earlier silver that started techno. 3 days + 2 underground and underpopulated niche stages + trendy rebirth of techno > let's make a green stage for one day instead of starting silver with techno everyday.
that said it could become a 3 day thing of it works well this year and thay surely integrate less purist techno-rave stuff.

My guess would be some kind of techno... Indicated by the deep persistent drilling kick along with the high hat/cymbal sound on the second beat. Whatever it is, it goes hard AF and I love it.

Ok so green is techno? I thought at one of Australia’s Defqon.1’s it was psytrance? Somebody correct me if I am wrong as I am genuinely curious!
In the past, at various DEFQON1 events, Green has represented Techno, Psytrance, and Drum & Bass/Breakcore. The Green Mix for the Netherlands festival in 2014 was done by Cooh, aka Ivan Shopov, a Bulgarian multistyle producer and the style was Technoid/Darkstep DnB. All the Green Mixes are great, so check out the others if you haven't heard them all!

Finally some good music back at defqon ;-P.. Now bring back a Qult / Funky Cat Stage (Various Genres) and open a fully Drumnbass / Neurofunk Stage and i would visit the festival again :- P
Its the festival of the harder styles, a hard trance or other hard genra stage would be nice, but it doesnt make sence to put a Drum n bass or neurofunk stage because they arent of the harder styles
@@marmolejomartinezjoseemili9043 nah if they booked artists like limewax and katharsys and TOA it'd easily be hard enough for DEFQON. Keep in mind Limey represented the Silver stage with a BANGING mix in 2016, and COOH represented green with a psycho DNB mix back in 2014. DNB can get extraordinarily hard. But I do agree that bringing back a hard trance stage would be a major step forward for DEFQON

why ? its an awesome very diverse genre with awesome productions. Would prefer sets from Sara Landry, DYEN, Shlømo or CLTX over any mainstage act
