I bought three P645 cameras, 2 had broken battery holders and 1 without. Tried changing the 3V 'memory' battery and... nothing. Then I`ve got the original holder separately with some as I thought non-critical corrosion and - still nothing. I was considering them dead but after I`ve got the 4th camera (haha) with pristine battery holder and tried it on other cameras - everything works! It is really the weak spot of this model
@@shootretro8121It’s a great camera - compact, easy to use, great lenses, nothing to complain about really. It is more about the sellers that tend to hide the flaws behind the “I don’t know anything about cameras but seems to work” phrase or similar. All cameras have weak spots and need to be looked after. I tried all Pentax 645’s, majority of Mamiya 645’s, RB67’s, Pentax 6x7 MLU and Yashica 124g - all great cameras and have their nuances
You're back!
Sorta! lol

@@muralboletube TBH I’d have skipped this camera entirely if I knew about all the issues. There’s plenty of other great cameras in the price range.
