I just wanna thank my 5 year old daughter for having badass taste in music: somebody that I used to know came on in a random playlist and she made me look up "the girlie" and then wanted to see every one of Kimbra's videos - this and Settle Down are her favorites, now we listen to her almost every day haha!!

Wow she just let all that fire out of her soul, no holding back on her performance with facial expressions and hand movements, you know she gave it her all. The band was fantastic they were all in the flow and you can see they knew it was gonna be a great session, and it was.

I love how the bass player is smiling SO much that he's actually causing Kimbra to smile and break her vocal styling (which, as much as I love her, is very "pushed"), and even laugh at some parts. :P

I can only assume what the positions of the musicians were, but seems like the snare fill at 'crack of my snare' (01:47) wasn't rehearsed and both the bass player and Kimbra were quite amused by it giving the drummer a surprised smile of appreciation.

Been watching Kimbra youtubes for 4 hrs tonight- best concert ever!! Unfailingly good wherever she is- be it in a backyard, in a tiny radio studio, live in concert - it's always the same - she gives the music her all. She's a beautiful little Kiwi gal who walked away with a swag of NZ awards last night and that's how come I sat down tonight to see what all the fuss was about. Honestly - there's no-one alive today who compares with this girl in my humble opinion.

good to hear she is getting some recognition in NZ. Still baffles me why she hasn't exploded in the US. She's got more talent than 99% of current US artists, yet I still haven't heard anything from/about her here (outside of youtube that is).
