Fierceness Wins the Florida Derby - Derby Prep - Gulfstream Park - 3/30/24

Fierceness, with jockey John Velazquez, wins the 2024 Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park. The mile and 1/8 race was won in a time of 1:48.22. The City of Light colt is trained by Todd Pletcher and earns 100 Kentucky Derby points for the win. Runner up Catalytic and trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr. picked up 50 points for the second place finish.
