Mine surprisingly never got it but then again i washed their heads with regular rags i was scared to rub bare fingers over their soft spots and i felt like a rag was textured enough to scrub away dirt and other stuff babies get on their head without scratching them up 😅
Honestly castor oil works great! Just use less than you think you need
Omg I thought it was cradle crap- I've been mishearing my mum for years-
The only time you deal with that is if your baby’s head is wet or even damp before they go to bed, it’s basically dandruff and a mild yeast infection
I completely forgot my daughter had cradle cap. We just used the selsun blue one time, put her cream on and combed it all out. I wish i had done it sooner. I did use the shampoo twice afterwards just to make sure but it never came back thankfully. You just have to be really careful not to get it in their eyes.
My son had it till he was 4/5 years old
TIL about cradle cap. I didn’t realize babies got this! Is it more like dandruff or psoriasis? Maybe eczema?
That's funny cause mine had it for a few years and at 5 still has spots every once in a while never fully went away no matter what I did to get it gone each time
Don’t buy expensive creams. Just use a little olive or coconut oil a few times a day.
I used coconut oil. Cheaper, had less chemicals.
I always rubbed a dab of coconut oil on my baby's head after every bath....never had cradle cap
Ive never seen so much before 😮. My mid wife just had me gently rub it off with olive oil and a rag.
so is it like baby dandruff?
Breastmilk... weird. But it works!
I had cradle cap on and off until i was 9, my brother until 13, we were always told it was harmless and not to worry about it. Is this wrong??
My baby sis also had that and it came back again some people think its because u dont wash the hair right and comb it
Best shampoo that works within 2 washes is Paul Mitchel Baby Shampoo
Shes adorable! Hope shes doing well!
We did coconut oil and a scalp brush, got it right off and was gentle
My eldest had chronic cradle cap off and on for years, she now at 11 has bad dandruff.
You can use a lice comb hope it helps❤
Oh yes, both my daughters had that. I just used baby oil and a soft brush.
Coconut oil or Olive oil
My cousin is 7 and he still has it
