I wouldn't want to buy it but the price and quality is attractive, wonder how many people have a Pantasy City.
Your thoughts mirror my feelings from when I built the set myself. Glad you enjoyed it overall.
Glad to see your review. I hope you are able to build a few more sets to better gauge Pantasy. Yes, they have are not at Lego's standard... yet.. but they are sooo close in the short time they have been in existence. Appreciate your open mind and willingness to venture into legitimate alternative brands.
Hey Jaabo
I purchased this set for Mrs H and she thought it was a great set. She loved the detail and the build quality. The printed items were very good too!
For Mrs H to be so enthusiastic about a non-Lego product is quite a surprise. She’s been a die-hard Lego only person for many years. She has been ardent in her belief that other brick companies can’t touch the what the Danes do. But, not any more!
I for one look forward to what Mattel will bring to the market. I no longer hold non-Lego brands in contempt!
An official PAN member now. Jason will be so proud to have a new member. By the way nice shirt
You have heard of the movie “band of brothers” well Jaabo and I are now the PAN of brothers
Wait till you see the shirt on the next video
The build looks more than decent; colour consistency and printed bricks is a big win and the fitness studio is cool. As I tend to mention I'm happy that LEGO get proper competition. As a side note: I been at a hotel (double rooms even) that had a clear window door and walls to the toilet and shower... I guess they got a lot of complaints as at later visits the windows where frosted.
Thanks for the review.
Wow, a whole video and you didn't mutter the word LEGO at all!
Mutter or utter?
It dose look really good, even the price.
Lego's competitors in the 1990's advertised their product as a cheaper alternative with more pieces per box - selling quantity over quality. They acquired a well-deserved reputation for inferior quality of parts.
Lego's modern competitors have almost caught up in terms of quality, and now offer designs that are as good for a much more reasonable price. I still buy plenty of Lego sets because I like them, but people should at least try the modern alternatives before criticizing them with no experience.
Remember to do the train project
It looks good. All the printed stuff is better than Lego does and a lot more details inside. Don't care for the baseplate though. I don't think it would look good in a city if the edges are all curling up on all the buildings, they need to fix that issue.
I did not quite catch it but you did mention something about a Holmes guy?
You say its not a copy, but all the pieces, right down to the tiny parts, seem to be identical moulds to Lego! I'm all for a bit of competition for Lego and more wallet-friendly options, but this does seem to be a blatant lego copy even if Lego have never produced this precise set. Whether its the set thats being copied or just individual brick moulds, to me its still a copy! Also 'Pantasy' sounds a little dodgy (here in the UK 'pants' are your underwear 😂) with sexual overtones but 'Funwhole' is on a 'whole nother level' (as you guys say) 😂🤣😁😮. My wife would wonder what on earth I was buying if she saw me making orders from either of these two companies 😂
They don't have pieces that are still protected by copyright etc. so I don't agree. Companies copy other companies products all the time as soon as it's legal, why is this different?
@MartyBricks it might well be completely legal, but it's still a copy, especially when, other than the Lego logo, the parts are identical!
@@FurySpyder True, a copy is a copy, I agree. I was asking because I've seen many using it as a reason not to buy and that's what I don't understand. Unless people with that opinion always only buy original things in all aspects of life.
Let’s face it, the original Lego brick was a blatant rip-off of a British patented design from 1947. It only became the Lego brick as we know it in 1958.
@@FurySpyderyou could say that about everything. Unless they own the intellectual property it’s not a copy because no infringement was made by using identical bricks.
Hay Jaabo! That looks Interesting?... Nice Build?... Looks Ok! I Wanna See The SHERLOCK HOLMES HOUSE???.... Yes Please! Buggleskelly37 xxx
Personally, I'll never buy a Pantasy or Funwhole or BlueBrixx set, but I won’t stop other people from buying them. Funwhole has marketed itself more aggressively than Pantasy thus is more relevant now. I’m surprised Funwhole hasn’t contacted you yet
Why?
Funwhole sets are great. I bought all their western sets and the cyber apartments set. They are nicer than anything Lego has been making.
