- Acadia Always: The Story of Acadia National Park
A brand new look at one of America's favorite national parks. Jack Perkins, former NBC News correspondent and host of A&E's Biography Series, lends his powerful narrative to this hour long tribute to the people who created Acadia National Park and to those who keep and preserve it. The photography of Jeff Dobbs and Bing Miller, who call Acadia home, and the music of John Cooper will lift your spirits and keep Acadia alive in your heart..always
In 2017 I solo kayaked from Quoddy Head Light to Key West Florida. I spent 2 days in Bar Harbor. I paddled by Acadia it was beautiful.
Great documentary, thanks!
Just returned from a weeks stay At Bar Harbor/Acadia. I've been to California to and other points west to hike but and all are fantastic but Acadia holds such magic. It is my favorite park.
No place on earth quite like Acadia. Thank you for posting these videos, my family and I love watching them all.
we live in CT and just drove to acadia for the first time. it was beautiful!!
I'm there right now! Beautiful!!
what a fantastic narration
your narration is quite peaceful, well spoken, well breathed
Love this video
I hadn't seen the ocean in 26 years prior to going there. I wanted to see it again at Acadia. It was breathtaking!
What an Amazing Video! Beautiful work!
Wonderful views and Jack Perkins and Jeff Dobbs work together very well.
We had such a great time at acadia national park!

it was called Lafayette National Park, when i first went there!

i will be twilight come December ( 94 years )
If you live in that particular area, you need to go at least once. I know going to Yosemite or Yellowstone or even Zion may be difficult, but if you have a chance and you are in the area go there at least once.
awesome!
just incredible work on this video... the first 5 mins i counted 20 different amazing cuts ! the quad copter work is also wonderful... i cant believe there are only 2919 views! this video is a great example how videos should be made... please keep up the great work and sharing this on youtube we were there this summer and the only way to fully experience Acadia is to be there no video or books can explain the beauty of it
❤️❤️❤️

wonderful is too weak a word
What a shame it's made in HD but that's what was around back then, and I suspect it is really only 720p by the look of it, or it's got very bad compression. Would love to see this in 4K.
How do you get a drone shot in a national park legally?

great videography/photos and narration, but the music really detracts - sounds amateurish. The film would be timeless if soundtrack could be replaced. Also Some's Sound is not the "only fjord in North America", I believe the Saguenay Fjord in Quebec would qualify and actually be a better example of a fjord.
~~!!!
hilariously bad music.
