    I would like to see how to refill or repair this nail in few weeks. I hope this wouldn't be a big problem. However, I really enjoy watching Kirsty doing nails, she explains everything she is doing. Thank you Kirsty. Love you. 😊

    always love watching your videos...I binge watch them back to back all day.. Addict? yes...very much so! haha. I have been doing my own as well as others nails for over 16 years now. I learned from my aunt who was a beautician ...she did everything. However it was "old school"...so I love learning newer stuff from you. Thanks again Kirsty!

    I'm so glad to finally see a hard gel extension on a form! I never use acrylic because of the smell, so I love this! Quick question - can't you just go straight to using the cover pink and skip the clear builder and sculpture gels? What would be the benefit of using those?

    • @NaioNailsOfficial
      @NaioNailsOfficial  8 лет назад +3

      The coloured gels are a slightly different consistency to the clear builder and the sculpture gel is thicker, so it keeps it's shape for longer before curing :)

      justacommentism1 It's pretty much preference. I think gel is way easier than acrylic to me. Plus it doesn't smell and you can work with it as long as you'd like because it doesn't set until you want it to.

    I have a question. What's the real difference between builder gel and hard gel? I mean can you do a full nail/set with either or. Or are they both specifically for a purpose, or is it really the tech or customers preference?

    • @louiseddb

      one i believe is thicker and stronger for building and the other just hard and thinner. builder would move less and only self level slightly, for creating apex

    • @NaioNailsOfficial

      if you are using coloured gel polishes, I would recommend leaving the sticky layer on before applying the next coat as removing it can remove colour :)

I let the primer dry and I don't let the acrylic touch my cuticle and I make sure it's not thick around the cuticle . What do you think it could be

    Great video again Kirsty, thanks!
    When you extend nails, with acrylic or gel or whatever, do you need to cut your natural nails back so short? I like my long natural nails, but I'd like to extend them too, and I thought it would help them grow better under it too, wouldn't it? Is there a reason the nails are always very, very short in all the videos? i can't see why not, when you use forms instead of tips, but I'm not a nail tech!! I'd love to see if it was possible to extend an already long natural nail.. thank you in advance!

    • @y1988126
      @y1988126 8 лет назад +1

      I have long nature nails, too. I watched many nail art videos but no one did on long nature nail. I think it's because the nature nails can't grow up all the same, like me, I got some fingers nails twist a little bit, the sidewalls are different. and nature nails don't have the apache to hold the strength. the most important thing is, if nail breaks, it will hurt ur nail bed even the whole nail.
