Feel like Brian’s the only guy Eddie truly respects and doesn’t even always try to mess with in the usual way he does. I love clip when he talks about how much he loved and idolized Brian when he was coming up in the sport

@@dac8939 absolutely spot on bro Brian Shaw is already placed himself as one of the greatest to ever compete in this sport of strongman. Same with Eddy to be fair the dude came in like a rocket and competed and beat people that seem unbeatable.
These two absolute Legends great ambassadors of the sport showing people they can be strong and marketable.

@@t-dog4812 Agreed, Eddie was probably the strongest static lifter who’s ever lived in 2016, his 500kg deadlift will never be forgotten.
Eddie is like the little brother who lived to play tricks on the older kids, and run away laughing afterwards. Brian is the only guy big enough to let Eddie fully bring out his inner child.

I suffered a car crash that turned me into a person with paraplegia. Watching Eddie and Brian together has never made me smile and laugh so much in my life. I’ve grown up watching you two and wanna thank you for never failing to make me smile. Won’t forget to mention Nick and Oberst as well
Hey man. Depending on the extent of your Paraplegia, you could always get yourself to the gym and get those boof arms that will let you wheel yourself around at mach-10! I hope you adapt and overcome your new life! Never give up and remember, we human beings are the kings and queens of adaptation.

These two really like each other. You could see the fear in Eddie when he squared up with Brian. That's a big dude to bounce off of. Great content.
Eddie fought and knocked down multiple times, someone bigger than Brian. He is not scared of Brian.

Also I always love it Eddie when you tell the story of going to your first WSM and thinking you’re going to destroy everyone. Then you see Brian and you think to yourself “what have I got myself into“. You guys have such a great friendship
I love the look on Eddies face at 9:33. You can tell he's really appreciating the moment. Back training for strongman again with Brian. You can tell he's missed this. And there's nowhere else he'd rather be in this moment than with the guy he respects more than anyone on Earth
Brian is so generous and fully benevolent. That team with Eddie is great!
You can really see the love these 2 have for each other in this video. They both push each other, and help each other grow. Eddie may have lost some strength with the boxing training, but he's getting back with Brian's help. Always enjoy the videos, and keep them coming

I think is one of the only people with whome Brian doesn't have to control his power. He just slaps,chest bumps,etc without fearing he could hurt him. Must be new for Brian to be this open physically with someone
This isn't a new combo. They've been friends for many years.

Im predicting this wont be the last comp you do Eddie. Would be cool to see you in the circuit again. Maybe not weighing 197 kg... but at a healthy 170 and winning a few comps
100% agree I would love to see him back even if he doesn't go all out 197kg breaking each and every record there is.

@@HashBrownDoyler yeah I’d still like to see him drop 50 more kilos eventually if he wants to live a long life. 170 is fat as fuck even if a lot of it is muscle.
@@bigguy4u989 agree. a part of me thinks he isn't able to. ADHD tends to bring about bad eating habits and I'm sure Eddie is a victim of it + conditioning himself to eat a lot of food and a desire to stay strong and big probably keeps him stuck at 150 kg. I hope he eventually slims down though for his family and his own sake.

I love that Eddie has the chill "lifting with friends" mode and then he's able to switch it ON during an important exercise/set and goes 0-100 real quick. Got that killer instinct for sure.

I commented on Eddie's purple lips the other year out of concern for his health and he's come a long way since then health wise. I'm very proud of how serious he is taking his health.
