Sat and waiting
Reheat pizza while waiting
You out grew Columbia, Grace. Move on to better and greater thinks. Be you and all you want to be. You're awesome ❤. Looking forward to your record. Best of luck. I know it will be amazing.
i'm checked in 😇
so talented queen
Zazzz, Zazzz in abundance grrl !!! 🤩
she’s amazing
Love you Grace!!! Foreverrr
She's so pretty and talented! If you haven't checked out her new music, definitely go give it a listen. Obsessed.
And away we go!
It's great that she's starting over and building a new catalog from scratch. I love how she drops f bombs with abandon.
Thank you Audacy, you know how to interview
So Columbia didn't want Grace Vanderwaal but then threw money at the train wreck that was JoJo Siwa's rebrand. 😂😂😂 I wonder if they're having second thoughts on that strategy ... 😮
😂
Columbia's formula never worked for Grace, she's right were she needs to be .
I'm sure the acoustic session with Grace will be good.
Question now is when she said "you can't have any of the music you've written" was she talking about in the past when she tried to get them on albums or since we dropped you we are keeping all your songs. That would be dumb because all she has to do is rewrite them with different lyrics and change a few notes.
And wasn’t she still with Columbia when she wrote the Megalopolis songs? She have any say over them?
@@barbaracastille2149 Coppola had permission from Sony to use Grace. The soundtrack was released by a Sony label. I don't know if the music is owned by Sony or Zoetrope (Coppola's company).
All the music recorded under Columbia is owned by Columbia although Grace will continue to receive royalties from streaming, etc. The unreleased recordings are Sony's and may never see the light of day. You can't just change a few notes or lyrics - that would still violate copyright laws. I suppose she could re-record some of them but she seems content to leave the past behind. I suppose if Grace's album hits big we may see some of that released.
@@rockpopscissors3981 I said a while ago the unreleased songs were Columbia's and was told I was making shyt up. Maybe they are forcing Grace to buy them back.
I think this is the reason why they've been released under Vesta Sweetwater

She looks great.
anyone know if Just Kids, Let me hate you, and the others she previewed on that Instagram live made it out alive with Grace or are they in Columbia purgatory?
Unfortunately I'd say they're gone , but at least we have what she shared with us on IG and the NY night clubs live shows .
@@chmtopforever2177she can still perform them, she just doesn’t own them
I guess it's just SOP with the big labels. It's just that seeing Grace ripped off of her creativity feels that much more infuriating having unreasonably protected feelings for her. She was a child entering that world, you would think someone in her camp would've stepped up to advocate and protect her from the sharks. Good that she's out and hopefully in a better situation with control and ownership.
More reflection and creativity going on in her 20 years than most of us do in much longer lifetimes. God I hope she foregoes more tats.
