The group has just disbanded in December last year and this is Yuyan’s first solo release after THE9 disbanding. But this is not her first solo, since she had released several songs already before her participation in the survival show.
THE9 was really poorly managed by their company Idol Youth Entertainment and their music videos always had mid quality for the standards and half filming positions were bad in my opinion so it isn't surprising to me that there was a huge chance that any other mandopop/cpop music video was way better than theirs. We can only admit that their styling (both in concerts and street style) was so fire that even many popular Kpop groups would be stunned and their digital concerts were great but once again, sometimes the camera got disappointing directions to film and they were technologically well equipped and advanced but the CGI was bad sometimes. I have started to wonder if the bad CGI is unfortunately common in Kpop as I have also seen video of Yuqi(from G-Idle) promoting her solo Bonnie and Clyde in china and even if it was impressive, the CGI background was off to me. I have to admit that I like the interest in it and it also means that they might fix it and get better than other countries at it so the effort is widely accepted. THE9 thumbnails were also some of the worst thumbnails I have ever seen in Idol groups (sorry not sorry, and I write all of these things as a hopeful fan of them, they deserved much better indeed). In a few words, I also expected a good music videos but not THAT great.
Congratulations to yuyan for moving another big step for her career in producing this MV. Expecting more and more in near future, releasing single, album or MV. Great job!

However, I would definitely be more convinced that Yu Yan’s team copied, if Taeyeon released her MV at least 6 months ago.

From the plot, it is originated from the story of Cinderella, with the frames expressed by the technique of scifi art for the plot-related scenes, she created her own world of W.
After following this trend I came to the conclusion that Yu Yan was successful as a singer and dancer because the passers-by didn't like the MV, but kept coming back to listen to the song and comment repeatedly. I'm glad for you, you have enough looks and talent. and i'm signing up to be your biggest fan.

@@imenelaidi2193 the production time line doesn’t add up. The INVU MV was released on 14th February. Meanwhile, Yu Yan has been working on this for really long. I don’t know about production, but I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to come up with an MV like this in such a short period of time if they really watched INVU and decided to copy (Feb-May). However, I would definitely be more convinced that Yu Yan’s team copied, if Taeyeon released her MV at least 6 months ago.

China has literally constructed an entire apartment in a day. You don't even have to be a fan of Taeyeon to see that this was obviously plagiarized. If this was the other way around, it's the same result. It's plagiarism.

The Dark Abyss
(The negative self)
The space of the Abyss was her inner self.
The main character struggled, projecting countless entangled emotions to the surface of the water.
Through the power of the queen, the self-cognition was raised. The inner self under the abyss opened the gate and firmly walked to the door of light.
This MV is not copied, its concept is completely different, the scene is not too similar. The lyrics and the scene match. YuYan refers to the AI and the queen. YuYan came up with the idea and finished the demo before 2022. She released the song for free for fans on her birthday. Invest money to make expensive scenes. Even when watching the MV, it doesn't make people think of Invu. Only 1 or 2 pictures that seem similar make you say she's plagiarized. Why would you say such bad things to a little girl on her birthday. Finally, the song is very good, the mv has a distinct meaning. I hope YuYan will always be happy and successful in her singing career. And Happy birthday YuYan 🥰

Today is YuYan's birthday and she spent a lot of money making a mv to give to her fans even though she hasn't worked for a while. She even livestream for over 1 hour to explain every shot, concept, make-up, demo, and say she dont copy. Lawyers, makeup artists, fans, all defended her with with full proof. There were many times when she almost cry. Everyone is very sad because she did not feel happy on her birthday. She respects creative work and defends it. The idea will sometimes coincide when many artists use it, but it certainly does not have to be copied. The concept of MV is completely different.

The Creation of the Story
This is a dystopia futuristic fairytale.
Re-interprets the "wonderland" with a science fiction perspective.
Different from the traditional "Cinderella" fairytales, who waited for rescue from others, she attained self-salvation.
She got rid of the fate of sacrifice, freed herself, and became the queen of her own.
From the plot, it is originated from the story of Cinderella,
with the frames expressed by the technique of scifi art for the plot-related scenes,
she created her own world of W.
After following this trend I came to the conclusion that Yu Yan was successful as a singer and dancer because the passers-by didn't like the MV, but kept coming back to listen to the song and comment repeatedly. I'm glad for you, you have enough looks and talent. and i'm signing up to be your biggest fan.

（對抗世界的自我-自我蛻變）
主角作為女王的她隱藏在另一個世界的宮殿里，女王是這個宮殿世界的主人，
她希望被控制的祭品的她能夠突破束縛，回到本該屬於她的女王位置。
女王面對這種情況，流下了眼淚，眼淚落下並由此給反烏托邦世界帶來了巨大的變化，
讓行星墜落並且炸毀這個壓迫和控制自己的世界，終結了不斷的不幸。
最終祭品的她蛻變成為女王的她。

The Palace of the Queen
(The self fighting with the world -- self-transformation)
The main character, as a queen, was hidden in the palace in another world.
The queen was the owner of the palace in this world, and she wished the her, being controlled as a sacrifice, could break the chain and return to her original position as a queen.
Facing this, the queen shed tears. The tears dropped and brought great impacts to the dystopia world, triggering the planets to fall and destroy the world that oppressing and controlling her. And terminated the continuous unfortune.
In the end, the sacrifice her became the queen of her.

Yuyan has started this project since last year, definitely a few months before taeyeon's INVU been posted in youtube. Through Yuyan's weibo live this afternoon, she had mentioned that she had discussed about the mv concept on 22nd October and completed the final demo of WHO on 19th November last year.

Forests
The owl was the guide of the view and, at the same time, implied there were countless eyes watching the world, staring and tracking the sacrifice her.
In the forests, the main character was stumbling seeking the way out for herself. With the guidance of the flowing particles, she finally saw the doppelganger of the queen.
The mountain space they met was the only place with warmth in the harsh world.
There she met her real self, the queen her.

你们说MV元素很相似 但事实上那只是看起来像根本就不是一个东西 而其他相似的喻言也有解释为什么选择
1.沙漠
截图简直就是断章取义，那根本就不是沙漠而是废墟，用垃圾造的景。
2.月亮
一直以来在青你二（Youth With you 2）的时候，喻言就对粉丝说“你们是照亮我的一束光”的约定，在粉丝眼里喻言耳后的月亮是她的象征，同时也是喻言眼里光的象征，所以月亮是一个在喻言经历里重要的元素。
3.帽子
本来不应该是帽子的，拍摄的时候要的是护目镜，但是看起来头大，才在借来的有限服装里选择了帽子。
4.躺着
因为要挡着身下的箱子，不让箱子显得突兀出戏。
5.行星爆炸 万箭齐发
不是万箭齐发，掉落的是废墟碎片，是她眼泪的象征，因为眼泪里有包含很多情绪，所以很多冲击力很强。
6.泪钻
喻言很喜欢的一个妆造元素，在2020年就已经有在使用。
7.白头发
本来不是白的是红的，因为喻言经典造型就是红发，但是假发突兀才换成白发。
8.细沙
不是细沙 是“女王”的细碎光影。
9.时间线
新歌2021年10月已选定概念和元素，为保持情感概念等一致性，mv同时完成构想和元素选定。
10.喜好偏向
喻言今天才看见前辈的MV，可以在喻言两年来的翻唱翻跳和bgm使用看出，喻言一直对于韩圈没有过多关注，个人喜好更偏向于欧美。
