    Lyrically there is no match. The content, the delivery, the intelligence, the presence, the charisma, the balls to spit about political relevant matters. Akala is one of the greatest in the game

    The people who don't like him are the people who can't swallow the truth. He says nothing but realness and you still seem to find a reason to hate, because he has the balls to speak up on things you'd coward away from? The man is veteran in the scene, very intelligent and even has his own hip-hop shops for kids who need a help in hand in the music industry.
    Salute to you Akala.

    I know my knowledge on the grime scene isn't great - but this guy is probably the best out there. It really upsets me to see people hating on Akala and what he stands for because in this day and age it takes a lot to go out there and speak your mind. Like it or not, this guy has opened up a lot of eyes to the system and the state of society and it is important to have people like him in this world. The hate really does disheartens me ... I guess the truth hurts some people, but it can set you free...

      Adam Clowes I think he know what his "words actually define to". Akala is an articulate man. Look at 5 minutes of his Oxford University address, he's incredibly smart. As for your comment about it being 'fuel', you say that almost as a bad thing. Dude, we need change and it's people like this that talk about issues and don't stay ignorant that help to bring about peace and change. Music is where change can start from

      information on drugs and legalization of " street" drugs - something that the elite will never due to fear- will end of this misery . some drugs enlighten some people, some slave some people. The illegality of drugs is a business , I would even say, tax u-turn. if people need to fill a void with the help of drugs to enable them to socialize, interact, free them from mental pain , or be someone in society , there is no real argument in politics to tackle the root of it, if they are so concern. in my opinion, its a business , driven by the elite to put people down and cast out certain group of society . Akala has always said that information will set us free, just as other did. Knowing which information is useful and which one is not and most importantly , nudging people to have a certain " constructive criticism " is the key for society to start to have a debate, eye to eye without reservation.

      two of the most overrated writers

    • @ChristianFoleyRaps
      @ChristianFoleyRaps 6 лет назад +5

      Perhaps. But their ideas were undeniably influential. Akala, who is massively influenced by Orwell in particular (he even did a whole album based on 1984) is a case in point. It is hard to argue with the fact that Orwell, Huxley and Atwood, and most of the dystopian novelists were spot on about much of our modern society.

    • @lukebruce5234
      @lukebruce5234 6 лет назад

      It is because of the conspiracy crazies from the USA who heavily promoted these books in their NWO conspiracy theory. 1984 and Brave New World were one of the first books I read in English, mostly because of the hype surrounding them. Well, maybe I am just a hater. Brave New World, though probably relevant today, seemed very difficult to digest, while 1984 was in its entirety an attack on the Soviet Union and the Eastern Block, hardly any similarities to modern liberal capitalism.

      Most people don't even realise we had them revoked by our current government. They sent a message, when they consigned the Magna Carta to a museum. We need to start thinking about sending a clear one back. Magna Carta was won at knife point. Something worth remembering.

      Anthony McCarth He was talking about it being a comic in the beginning no ?
      Get that and see if you like it.

    • @BoSSLeVeLs
      @BoSSLeVeLs 6 лет назад

      Lynxchillin08 film animated mate not drawn to animate (to bring to life ) at least try be smart look it up 😂ffs

      Lynxchillin08 if you don't understand that basically a comic is not a animation 😂

    • @Lynxchillin08
      @Lynxchillin08 6 лет назад +2

      Anthony McCarth Trying to look smart? My question was genuine. I was just trying to help.
      How about you drop your ego and try to help people as opposed to trying to one up them on the Internet thinking your patronising use of "😂" will get you anywhere. Jeeez Bro, lighten the fuck up I'm sorry I wasn't smart enough to suit your standards.

    • @Lynxchillin08
      @Lynxchillin08 6 лет назад +1

      Anthony McCarth And to be fair I think I responded to the wrong comment here, my comment makes little sense in response to the original comment. Keep putting people in their place though, you're making the world such a smarter place you genius !

    Akala...what can I say? man is on another level, always pushing the boundaries of rap and trying something different with his novels and rap. Most are so blinded by the shit they listen to, they don't see the genius that is akala.
