If I remember correctly, weren't the songs on these K-Tel compilations cut short, or trimmed? I remember we had one K-Tel album in the house (I forget which) and every song was definitely a lot shorter than the "regular" version of it from the radio (which were usually shortened themselves for singles), assuming naturally to fit more songs on one disc. Fun commercials tho', great '70s memories. 🎸
I found this LP in a dollar bin recently. The version I have does NOT include Boz Scaggs, the Jacksons, Chillawack, or Kansas. Plus, the KISS song here is "hard luck woman", not "Beth".
Side A: The Guess Who - "American Woman" Bachman-Turner Overdrive - "Takin' Care of Business" Neil Young - "Heart of Gold" Gordon Lightfoot - "If You Could Read My Mind" Anne Murray - "Snowbird" Rush - "Closer to the Heart" Lighthouse - "Sunny Days" April Wine - "Just Between You and Me" Side B: Bobby Orr and the Croutons - "I'm a Lumberjack" The Stampeders - "Sweet City Woman" Harlequin - "Innocence" Trooper - "Raise a Little Hell" Andy Kim - "Rock Me Gently" The Poppy Family - "Which Way You Goin', Billy?" Max Webster - "A Million Vacations" Murray McLauchlan - "Down by the Henry Moore"
*_More Than A Feeling - Boston_* Foram os solos de guitarra dessa música, nesse LP, que me apresentaram ao rock. Desde 77 é o meu estilo musical. Depois veio o Iron Maiden e... *UP THE IRONS!!!* 🤘🏻

As heard in some of yer finer bars near colleges.
I got brazillian press
House of the Stars.
KISS wasn't big enough to get their faces on the commercial? What?
They were listed among the tracks available. They were seen in another K-Tel record ad.
Kiss probably wanted more money to feature their faces in advertising. KTel probably didn't want to pay it.
Simply, "Stars."
Great song after all these years 💗.
1977 RULES!!!!!
