Omg Ava’s can and can’t(s) got me good! Yes, don’t talk to her “bestie” about other friendships, please! Also, yesss about that fight/honest scene they had at the end. It was needed and so beautiful. Bea needed to hear it, also job/pleasure, also they fought and immediately resolved it - couple goals, and then the horrible Mary reveal. Since it had to be off screen because we didn’t have Toya anymore, I gotta say they did an amazing job showing the impact it had on the characters. It helps us feel something since there was really nothing there otherwise.
Yes, knowing that they had no other choice but to kill her off screen, I think that they did a good job - honestly though as it’s been 2 years and we had that revelation twice (first with Lilith and now with the message through the cross), for me, it was not as impactful - that’s all :) this episode really was avatrice centric though, right? - they really made a choice of paving the way for the ship before letting the action consume the biggest bulk of the episodes. I appreciate that.
@@theothergaycousin I agree that it was not as impactful, absolutely. I loved Mary, but I felt more about how they felt than about how I felt because we saw nothing. I was pointing out the good in it, but I agree with you overall. And YES, they really did! Also, it really sends a message, as you said (either on this reaction or the one before): "we didn't forget their chemistry", it's here, and it's alive and well. It shows they're taking it seriously and that the relationship isn't at a standstill. It's still developing. It's a wonderful way to start off. I was genuinely surprised we got so well-fed so soon, though! 😅
Everyone, keep streaming Warrior Nun Season 2 on Netflix if we want to get that Season 3!! This is crucial for determining whether we will get a Season 3 of Warrior Nun
The fighting scenes have always been good but I think they’re even better now! Same for scenery and overall badassery :)

Apparently, Mary actress left for personal reasons. A shame , cause her and Ava's episode was one of the highlights of S1.
Agreed! Mary will be missed - loved her “older sister” dynamic with Ava.
Agree about Ava, I feel like either the writers forgot or Bea did but Ava is 19! Imagine being that young and having the fate of the whole world on your hands. I loved their talk, both actresses killed their lines
Yes, Beatrice has always been quite harsh with Ava - but as she said, she forgot that not everybody trained their whole life for this. either way, since Ava decided to stay and help them out, she at least has to try her best because there are many lives on the line. She did die, unfairly, of course - and it was the halo that brought her back. Were it not for that, she’d stay dead. But I absolutely am on Ava’s side on this, anyway - I’m just trying to also view things from Beatrice’s perspective. They’re trusting Ava with a lot of responsibility. it’s complex - and that’s why this story is so compelling.
I was really confused with the guards speaking brazilian portuguese too lol
I think it was a mistake! I think they asked someone to get Portuguese people yelling, thinking they were in Portugal and not in Toledo, Spain. But then when they got the Portuguese voices, they didn’t notice they had Brazilian accent.
@@theothergaycousin Yeah, probably. I had to check twice if the audio hadn't switched to br portuguese, cause it's my native language

knowing netflix they might just axe the show no matter how many ppl watch the show. my girl forced me to watch that vampire show, it was corny but kind of endearing didnt mind a season 2 and ppl really wanted one but netflix axed it fast asf 😂
Same happened with Paper Girls on Amazon Prime. Gotta be honest that one left me really sad. let’s hope that warrior nun will be an exception.
