my daughter will be hearing for the first time in her life here in a few weeks and i can not wait for her to hear Matisyahu his music has been a huge part of our lives :)
2:28 Transition is genius Mr.Matisyahu. Your songs have lifted from darkness, emptiness...your story spirit struggle and life is so precisely reflected with identity and signature in all of your manifestations of sound. Anything you say inspires. You draw a path leading to a belief in a time of disbelief. I love the spirit in your song. You are free man. You free with your words. Thank You Habibi.
Lyrics: I can't stop drop and roll Fire been burning out of control And burning keep the hearts all yearning And the heads them keep on turning I dig in I dig in and sinking my teeth in Spit fire 'cause I'm the last dragon Knock knock them down sizzling with a vision New york city to jerusalem Concrete jungle burn down babylon 'Cause a simple man am I With my chest up to the sky When I walk by my talk rides high like the wind rewind I'll be by your side when nighttime it runs on And the children they ride high I'll be standing on the sun Burn into the light burn into the sun Find these lines that climb from inside The dream in between the words you might Hear me slur as the vision it blurs And the sun sets you don't know who to follow And the path that they passed seems shallow You never know where you might go But the seed that you plant is the seed that you sew And rain down at midnight I ride my bike King with my broken crown Brooklyn bridge to crown heights
+Yaki Gårdman at the end (4:00) he sings a remix of close my eyes, but i can't understand all the lyric, please somebody help me, I'll be grateful versus I praise is like a double edged sword with the glory of the lord, you could never ignore reaching up pon' the skies settled down pon' the floor set my …., my art is your ..................... ....from the sword ...insides ....bleed for more ...at the end of me ....till my night twilight from the heights of my roof same pray ... I'm looking out to the night and ask for help to get up and get up and get up and get up
Even in context, not really. I understand that he is referring to "you reap what you sow" which is the metaphor you're talking about, but reaping and sowing are two different things. Sowing and planting a seed are the same. So what he is actually saying is "you never know where you might go, but the seed that you plant is the seed that you plant"
You have to listen to it in context.. he says "you never know where you might go, but the seed that you plant is the seed that you sow." which is probably a metaphor for controlling the aspects of life that you are able to. so actually it is pretty philosphical.
The seed you plant is often thought of as the physical choices we make in our life and work we put into the future BUT MAGIC IS FOUND WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT WORDS HAVE IMMENSE POWER AND ARE ALSO SEEDS
I think he meant by reminder is that the plant you plant is your plant, don't plant a seed then be annoyed you got a wattle tree when you wanted a rose bush. Don't expect things in life that you didn't start.
@jwdesign336 XD That makes no sense but I kind of know what you mean ; a mix between getting pumped up and being at peace (At least that's how I see it )

Man! This is out of this world! Celestial stuff!
Lyrics:
I can't stop drop and roll
Fire been burning out of control
And burning keep the hearts all yearning
And the heads them keep on turning
I dig in I dig in and sinking my teeth in
Spit fire 'cause I'm the last dragon
Knock knock them down sizzling with a vision
New york city to jerusalem
Concrete jungle burn down babylon
'Cause a simple man am I
With my chest up to the sky
When I walk by my talk rides high like the wind rewind
I'll be by your side when nighttime it runs on
And the children they ride high
I'll be standing on the sun
Burn into the light burn into the sun
Find these lines that climb from inside
The dream in between the words you might
Hear me slur as the vision it blurs
And the sun sets you don't know who to follow
And the path that they passed seems shallow
You never know where you might go
But the seed that you plant is the seed that you sew
And rain down at midnight I ride my bike
King with my broken crown
Brooklyn bridge to crown heights
+Yaki Gårdman at the end (4:00) he sings a remix of close my eyes, but i can't understand all the lyric, please somebody help me, I'll be grateful

Matisyahu is DA MAN! And that guitar solo is it. xD
But nobody can hold that against him, he's an amazing artist!
The spinner versions sound much better than the version on the album Light. Why is that? Hope Matis can make another album of this version!
i love music
You can't have a better tomorrow if you don't stop thinking about yesterday
♥ .. ☮.. ☺.. ✰
O cara é Fera Demais!
@charronfamilyconnect The Album is LIGHT. But this guitarrist appears in the Live at Stubbs's II version.
Hell yeah, that guy is the man. Hopefully Matisyahu sticks with him for awhile.
One of the few artists that is better live.
EXTRAORDINAR!!!
You have to listen to it in context.. he says "you never know where you might go, but the seed that you plant is the seed that you sow." which is probably a metaphor for controlling the aspects of life that you are able to. so actually it is pretty philosphical.
the best...........

The seed you plant is often thought of as the physical choices we make in our life and work we put into the future BUT MAGIC IS FOUND WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT WORDS HAVE IMMENSE POWER AND ARE ALSO SEEDS

@Sarge034 the sweatshirt says: BOMB, that's all. And the T-shirt is the picture of Rambam (Maimonides).
the seed that you plant is the seed that you sow
Is this FREESTYLE? Or do they plan this??? Love how they work together with the picking and beat boxing. SO RAD.
I think he meant by reminder is that the plant you plant is your plant, don't plant a seed then be annoyed you got a wattle tree when you wanted a rose bush. Don't expect things in life that you didn't start.
His left hand is always: "yeeeiiiyah!"
