In a jaw-dropping revelation, Chief Williams Adedipe, known as Oloro Akure Kingdom, has confessed to orchestrating the death of the wife of a Christian cleric, Modupe Fakuade and threatened same fate on two of her children.
This stunning admission came during an exclusive interview with renowned broadcaster Babatunde Bamigboye Omo-Edema.
Chief Adedipe, a highly respected traditional leader in Akure, disclosed that Fakuade, a distant relative posing as a pastor’s wife, had used another relative, Mercy Ojo for rituals.
Despite numerous pleas and interventions, including those from the Deji of Akure’s palace, Fakuade refused to reverse the afflictions or admit to the act.
Desperate to save Mercy whose life has been in a mess since visiting the Fakuade’s church, Chief Adedipe - a traditionalist turned to his deities for revenge.
Astonishingly, while Mercy began to recover, Fakuade met a mysterious and untimely demise.
While revealing the incident and his role, Chief Adedipe said he had threatened Fakuade's husband that two of his children would also die if he does not come to confess the actions undertaken by his deceased wife.
When questioned about the potential fallout from his confession, the ex-police officer remained unflinching, saying “I have nothing to hide,” he declared that Fakuade had merely reaped the consequences of her wicked actions.
