What a great build - that is really one of the best 6x10 shacks I’ve ever seen - homemade or manufactured. I wish you had one of those start to finish build videos. Outstanding job!
Lots of really good ideas to keep it light weight bad more portable. Would like to see a short video on loading and unloading the 4 wheeler into your shack for transport
Nice shack man! I have a 6 1/2' x 10' with a 3' V Ice Castle and you have way more storage with your layout. That entire setup is impressive for moving around and being stealthy.
They are made by ultra fab. They were much, Much cheaper when I bought them. Now I think its much more affordable to use Hydraulic jacks. ultra-fab.com/product/phoenix-4000-electric-tongue-jack-2-25-tube-4000-lb-capacity/
I want to build a 12' or 14' model so I can get a snowmobile in and out. Where did you get your rear door, diamond plate and interior wall from? What was under the canvas, foam and 2x3"s?
I got the door & diamond plate from Miltona Blacksmith. lower plywood is from menards I just stained and cleared it. Yes under the canvas is 2" foam and 2x3's.
Hello - I know this video is a 1year old already. Love the Diesel heater out outside - interested in how you ran exhaust / intake as it appears would be stilling on the ice. Any info on that would be much appreciated. Thanks
The exhaust pipe goes through a hole in the lower corner of the box. It sits around 5 inches from the ice. I use a battery box vent cover to let fresh air into the box for the air intake.
@@VTX1029 Many Thanks for providing that information. Been debating diesel heater vs Nu-Way for some time. See you have build a couple different houses and use the Diesel. Looking at the 5KW Firefly
I noticed the bait feeder reels you have on your rods. I have both Ceymar and Avenger as well...which do you like better? I'm considering returning one...I'm wondering if you have the same experience as me or if I got a factory reject. Thanks!

Definitely a lot of thought that goes into your builds!
Yeah ice fishing is always on my mind!
Very nice build. Well thought out an executed. Nicely done.
I like the leather couch, with ice fishing I’m sure it gets messy, easy cleanup with leather.
What a great set up! Thanks for sharing. Tight lines!
Thanks for watching!

Wow! thank you very much. I love to do this! I have a bunch of pictures when I built it I'll try and put together a video on it.
Lots of really good ideas to keep it light weight bad more portable. Would like to see a short video on loading and unloading the 4 wheeler into your shack for transport
I'll see if i can do that next time i'm out in it
Very impressive, and well thought out on so many details. Great work
Thanks!
Awesome build! Love the idea of the spare mounted to the hub! I'm gonna have to do that too!
You should! Thanks!
I'm going to do this to my boat trailer!!
I use a pre packed hub as my spare mount on all my trailers ive fabricated.
Great shack! Appreciate the detail on the wheel skis, I've got to make some here soon
It’s a perfect combination with tracks!
Great trailer and shack combo. Tight lines.
thanks!

Very nice setup ! Greetings from Calgary, Canada 👍
Thank you! 👍
Perfect !!!! Exactly what I was thinking for a Lake Winnipeg ice camping build.
The picture is from Winnipeg! Works awesome up there!
@@VTX1029 Hopefully we will see some more of this build ,I'm 20 min away from most Lake WPG access points.
Now that's a pretty cool set up great job
thanks
Beautiful Job! Very professional Finish!
Thanks
Really nice build!
I'm glad you like it
sweet set up!
I have a small shack as well but must admit yours is Cadillac! Got everything you need!!
thanks
Nice setup
Great job. You should of made a video building this!!
Thanks! Unfortunately I didn't video a bunch of this build. But I'm doing a series on my current build. ruclips.net/video/bexiIL9ewiQ/видео.html
Nice shack! I think I've seen it before.
Thanks
I'd love to win a shuttle. I just bought my livescope in November and am enjoying it so far.
Great ice hut man I’m jealous
Thank you
SICK!
I need a house like this
great shack
Thanks you
Great job! I was wondering how you attached the leaf springs on the wheel ends
They slide into the axle arms. Its a Miltona Blacksmith frame.
Can you show more on the diesel heater
Very nice
Thank you
Great shack and very informational videos! What is the length of the skis you made for the trailer?
They are 5' long
Sweet build, how much does it weigh ? been thinking of building one that size also
I have yet to weigh it but I’m going to guess between 1700-2200

I always run 1 extra hole than ill fish in up front and never drill it. Its my fridge so i dont need to ho in and out to a cooler or have one inside
I’ve done that in the past and then moved and left my beer behind 😳. Luckily I had a friend that noticed it and grabbed it for me.
@@VTX1029 guilty as well. And my eggs. It sucks without a good breakfast on day 2,3, and 4....

Id like to add back double door like that in mine were do you find doors like that?
Camper supply stores, Miltona Blacksmith, Unclaimed Freight in milaca MN

I prefer the avengers drag over the cemar
@@VTX1029 Boom...and there you have it. I prefer the avenger as well....weird the Ceymar is more expensive.
What diesel heat are you running? and what is the aftermarket thermostat comtroller?
Its a vevor 5kw heater with The afterburner controller.
Do you have a link to the diesel heater controller?
afterburner.mrjones.id.au/
Can you give a run down of your power supply and the components? How well they power the TV and other components. Thanks
I have 2 DYI lithium batteries. They power a 2000w inverter. The inverter powers the AC components.
How many AMP hrs are those batteries?
560ah@@frogdog01234
What size atv do you have to pull this shack? Was looking to build 1 myself and was curious how bid an atv I would need to pull it.
Mine is a polaris 570. With tracks it has plenty of power but if you tried on wheels I would recommend a lifted 800
@@VTX1029 thanks
So how do u charge your batteries if u are out for awhile
A generator if I had to but I usually don’t get to stay on the ice over a week.
What exact couch is that.
It came out of an ice castle, Sorry I'm unsure of the brand.
