I went to see it live, all was fine except for all the restaurants being completely overflowing. Aster the fireworks, we had to go back through the metro and there really was a lot of pushing, the police had to open the gates like slowly opening the floodgates… they were pushing and jumping fences I thought a stampede incident would happen. Thankfully we were at the front and went on the metro quickly. We go on the metro and the doors don’t close… the light go off and we leg it off the metro. An officer tells us the metro is back down the stairs and we say that it’s not working, he looks down at the overflowing crowd and yells at a nearby officer to do something.
We run off the metro to the neighbouring parking lot and call an uber and get out.
