Honestly, I think the best is to get variety packs and experiment until one find what works for them. I've tried various styles and sizes by Fender and Dunlop. Ultimately, I wound up finding that the Dunlop Ultex Sharp .90 works the best for me.
@ as long as they’re powdered. At the minute I’m using Alice picks. I used to use a soft pick for acoustic but a 0.71 is just an all round pick for everything. Plus I lose picks more than anyone.

That's a good thickness! Which company's pick do you use? I think Dunlop only has .73mm.

I struggled with this for years so i got a hybrid one from black mountain its a pick and thumbpick in one

Yeah I couldn't get used to it I kept dropping it or the grip didn't seem natural.
A blue shark fin pick I use . I don't know what it is .but I can't get on with anything else.👍

I have wooden picks and all sorts of plastic ones. But the shark fin one is my fav don't know why but can't use anything else.
