I lost my only child almost 5 years ago I avoid anything with children in it or family's as it can be triggering but I find such comfort in watching you with your beautiful family, you just sparkle when you look at your children, I so miss being a mum but i find some inner peace when watching this channel.

I also got back into knitting last year and can confidently say it’s been really great for my mental health. I feel productive and my hands are occupied without doom scrolling and being overwhelmed. What’s really great is having long form content like RUclips or movies or whatever playing in the background so I can still watch my comfort shows while I knit.

DISNEY TIPS from an Ex-Cast member!!
1. Check the size of your pram. Disney has size restrictions so if the pram is bigger they will make you leave it and rent one of theirs. AND, I hate to bring down the mood, BUT, life still happens at Disney, which means, that if you have a rather special-looking or expensive pram, it might disappear. Sorry, but it's true. Disney does its absolute best but bad things still happen. So, if you bring your own, secure it and don't leave any bags or personal items in it when you go on a ride. You can't lock it to anything as Disney sometimes has to move prams around BUT if you have multiple prams or strollers, tie them together when leaving them and that makes it harder to be taken.
2. Make dining reservations as soon as you are eligible. Sounds like you will be here around Spring break and it gets CRAZY.
3. Try to pre-purchase the Disney Dining plan. It will save you lots if you consistently eat 3 meals and snacks daily. If you are not a big eater then you should skip it.
4. Buy the lightning passes! Especially with 2 littles 3 and under AND coming in around Spring break!! It will be a lifesaver.
5. If you buy the lightning passes ~ Get magic bands or get a lanyard with a ticket holder so you don't have to keep reaching for your ticket every single time you check in for the lightning pass. Easier to just tap in without having to dig for it.
6. If you purchase the lightning passes make reservations AS SOON AS you are eligible to do so. Some rides and shows, like Guardians of the Galaxy, Rise of the Resistance, Smuggler's Run, Slinky Dog Dash, Tron, Everest, and Flight of Passage sell out really fast, and you will have to ride a stand-by line that will very likely be over 90 minutes.
7. If there is a specific character you MUST meet, look for a dining character meal that will have that character in it. It's a bit expensive but it will be so much more magical as there are longer interactions and better photos.
8. Stay on Disney property and make the absolute most of the stay with all the extras for those staying at Disney hotels. I believe this year you get a free mini-golf game at one of their 2 sites as well as free admission to a water park on check-in day. My absolute favorite place to stay on Disney property is the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground cabins. We rent a golf cart and enjoy our stay more than anywhere else. The cabins have accommodations for between 6 & 7 and a full kitchen as well. The nightlife there is also very family-friendly. 10/10
9. Download the Disney app on your phone as well as Kyle's phone. Just about everything at Disney is done virtually such as joining some ride lines and most snack carts no longer take cash, so if you are buying snacks or even souvenirs, you can just scan and pay with your Disney app. They also have the Disney Play app which helps to keep kiddos entertained in lines. Having said this, either bring external battery packs with you OR Disney sells a battery rod that once it needs charging you can just trade in for a new one, and that keeps you charged up your entire stay. Well worth the $30 or so.
10. The last but perhaps MOST important. Every park has a baby station. These have changing tables, small toilets, high chairs, bottle warmers, games, quiet areas, and TVs playing Disney cartoons. Find them and use them at will. They are free, super convenient, and ALWAYS clean. Makes the day easier when you know you can just take a break from the sensory overload.

The baby station at Disney MK is phenomenal! Highly recommend, even for a little break for the kids.
At Disney USE the food order portion of the park app. You can order, find your table, get the kids settled, then the food is ready without having to wait in line! We went a few years ago with 2- 2 year olds, it made life so much easier. Also get and use the lightening lane situation, my husband said we will NEVER not get it. If you can go on a date night with just you and Kyle there is so much fun to do for date night, and make reservations NOW if you haven't for restaurants we would make one a day, then build our day around it.
Oh my gosh!! This has made my evening! I started watching you on instagram while I was pregnant with my first baby last year. I also hated breast feeding it was painful! My baby is 3.5 months old and she’s already a wriggle worm! I’ve been a bit up and down postpartum but watching your reels and videos have made my day and has made me feel a bit better about being and becoming a mum! Thank you for posting and you being you!!

Hi Caroline, love your videos and I have been to Disney World now 6 times with kids of varying ages. There are always loads of things for kids to do like little dance parties and things but also in Epcot they have Kidcot stations in the worlds where kids can make little crafty things. Also all the character meet and greets are great for all kids and babies.
And also the cross body bags that everyone wears are from Uniqlo.
I'm watching this video on my way home from Disneyland Paris, back to Dorset. I have a almost 4 year old and a 13 month old and we've had the most amazing time, I've cried so much doing it with my kids having done it so much before kids. You will have the best time, the core memories ❤️

Always the pram! I brought one till mine was 7. It’s so much on them. It’s also so overwhelming and overstimulating so we take lots of breaks! I know it’s a long way and it’s a short time. But preserve your sanity and just go with the kids flow. We’ve been over 40 times and mine is now almost 14 and he still loves it! But again breaks breaks breaks. Disney bounding is so fun! Last advice is just make sure you measure the double pram and make sure it meets the guidelines of the park. Most of all. ENJOY!!

Disney is so fun with kids!! We love cheeseburger egg rolls in magic kingdom for snacks! Definitely look into lightning lanes if you don’t have a travel agent. It’s changed a lot since the 90’s!!

The mickey mouse waffle is amazing!!!! Typhoon lagoon is so worth a visit we went for 3 weeks (all adults) I loved every second ❤️ have an amazing time and do as much as you can xx

Omg I love knitting and I’ve just got back into it after a bad few months with my two year old ( just turned three). Not sure why I didn’t during that time but I felt enough of the doom scrolling cut back and knitting helps my brain to relax I didn’t realise how much.

Okay Disney! Plan your days before leaving. Sophie would love the princess boutique. Defo plan naptimes too and go back to the hotel if you can. Suncream is essential! Disney Springs has a cinema which could be fun but definitely overstimulating around dinner time. They have an incredible bakery called Gideon's (i think) but defo use the app--that has wait times, reservations and everything. Water is also soo essential and baby defo needs a hat. Can't wait to see! :)

On Disney, suggest you let each child select a Christmas ornament. Each year when you decorate the tree, you can recall the trip. I do it for all of our trips and plan to gift them to the children when they have their own trees. Just a silly American with a silly idea. Enjoy Disney!

Milk ladder for the win!! I hope it goes well! It’s such a fantastic system. My baby got egg and milk allergy. We are currently at step 2 of the Canadian ladders (pancakes) next months we will do boiled milk and hard boiled eggs. I am blown away by the results so far.
I know my friend's daughter was allergic to eggs as a baby. She reintroduced them little by little. She's 100% not allergic anymore! Very interesting process! Love your videos! 💜💜💜

Break in a good pair of shoes, wear clothes that you cant chaf in. If its hot, dont worry about your makeup you will sweat it off. There are areas in the parks for babies to eat , get changed, and nap. theyre called baby care centers. Most of the food is pretty greasy, so bringing some apples and oranges for a healthy snack is a good idea. I also love a collaspible water bottle, it saved me so much money. I think trying to plan out your whole day at the park with children is very stressful so just go with the flow and maybe have a few goal rides and shows. so your not putting too many expectations on yourself.

when i went to disney i went to the grocery store and brought our own snacks in the park. we saved so much money taking apple sauce packets, uncrustables, things we didn't need to keep cold. our own sandwiches and things. another big saver was bringing our own light up wands for the kids and glow sticks. they can be pretty pricey for a wand over $30. we also rented a stroller through kingdom strollers and were able to pick up and drop off in the airport. HOPE THIS HELPS. SAFE TRAVELS. :)

I’m now trying for my first baby but this will be our first and last as my partner already has 2 children from a previous marriage. I’m ok with just having 1 but I want to try and enjoy the whole pregnancy and new born stage as much as I can because I know I’m never gonna get that again. Xxxxxx

I really like knitting, I need to find a local group with some more experienced knitters who can teach me how to fix my mistakes. I find that part is the hardest to self learn because you don't even know where you went wrong to be able to google or youtube search it.

Wee had to do the dairy ladder too with our daughter. Only got stuck at a stage once and it was fine a few months later . She completed it by time she turned 3 and loves dairy now (except cheese unless its on a pizza). I had to stop dairy too during the time I was breastfeeding her also.
OMMGGG yes yes yes! I have 2 children! 5 and 3, they both have autism! I always wanted 4 kids! And still would love that! I love the baby stage! BUT I can’t have any more because it would be unfair for me to spread my time any more with the needs they have and the time and energy they need from me! So that makes me sad but I have to accept it for my family ❤️ so relatable x

I love the newborn stage too! But I absolutely hate the 3- 12 months ish 😩 when it’s all teething and weaning and learning to move and sleep regressions. So for that reason I won’t have a third, although love my girls to bits. Give me a toddler any day 🥲❤️🥲❤️

Caroline, I'd love to see a video about your Dyslexia and how you cope with it. I've known I've had it since a child especially in School but teachers thought the same but it wasn't tested for when I was young, I got diagnosed with it eventually when I turned 25, and it was such a strange relief!?

When you go to magic kingdom, start at Tomorrowland it tends to be quieter. Animal kingdom is always ten times hotter than the other parks. Have the best time xx

I totally get you about wanting another baby but kind of realising it'd be selfish.. I've think at least once a day since I had my last son whether I should have another one or not.. Ignore society. We are so driven now by wanting to be ‘done’ but what if your not? If you want another baby, it isn’t selfish. Sometimes that longing is there for a reason. You probably won’t want 7 anyway 😂 I have 4 and we have a comfortable life inc holidays. The even number helps in many ways too! My kids love having each other and they love a full house. Don’t get me wrong they bicker 🤣 but the joy & laughter they have outweighs anything else x

I love Caroline but I’m going through such a stressful time with my mom and my husband, all I feel is a lot of jealousy that her life looks so free and fun. Such a good mum and person. I wish I could watch without comparing myself.
