My mica pigments and pigments from this little piggy I mix up purely with a varnish of liquitex. What also works with the liquitex pouring medium and gloss medium. Josonja varnish isn’t necceary when you can’t get it. Once nicely mixed up, just add the rest of your pouring medium and that’s it.

I don’t think you mentioned how much paint you use and what you mix the colors with and quantities.
So are your paints just mixed with floetrol and water?
Dulux, is that the name of the house paint you use? I live in Denmark and I’m not sure what to buy… you can’t buy Dulux in Denmark
Here in Germany I just use “latex house paint”
And mix it it up with “baufan latexbinder”
It’s perfect and never gives me any cracks. Works perfect for any base. I use also the latexbinder of baufan for any basecoat I mix with acrylic paint.
