If you’ve never actually worked with metal before you have no idea how much of an undertaking a project like this _really_ is and the incredible amount of work that’s actually involved(and compared to ceramics/resin/wood carving metal takes AGES). You’re a man of so many talents my friend! The repertoire keeps growing, lol. Thanks for sharing this project with us!
The amount of time and skill shown here in this edited video is staggering can only imagine how many real time man hours this took! Awesomeness just doesn't cover this!
WOW!! This is the most beautiful and amazing artistry I have ever seen. I cannot express properly how truly impressed and amazed at your talents and the creations you produce. Thank you for this video.
Really very impressive work, worthy of a 4k camera though. I'd also show it off on a plain white surface at the end to really enjoy focused viewing of the car without the reflections which makes it too kaleidoscopic. You have a gift, for sure. Thank you for sharing that with us. It's appreciated.
Thanks for sharing your incredible work..I absolutely love the concept, beautiful piece of jewelry art..I will definitely be looking for more of your work in the future..
OMG the sound of metal scratching I feel like there's an cast iron spoon on my tongue. If I'd started this project I would had gotten about 5% into it and the other 95% would had ended up in a box with to do list written on the outside of it.
This reminds me of retired dentist turned full time modeler, Young C. Park he built aluminum airplane models with dentist tools and machines making the majority of the plane cut a ways as to show the parts underneath the skin of his model planes and although they weren’t intricately designs as yours it was sort of the same principle, if not cut from the same cloth. You can see his work here: Young C. Park - The Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum. Great job👍
Man, how do you even know if its gonna work out in the end? That is so amazing! I have never seen anything like that before. Is it a competition thing? Do people do this - moding car models like that?
The key is to not alter the structural integrity of the model. If you take a closer look, every panel he altered has the same shape, but the weaker part of the panel (the inside) is able to be manipulated. It only works because of the scale. The weight of a larger model might collapse or weaken due to lack of strength.
I caught myself on each reveal of a new piece sing out loud " dam!" "Dam dude!" . That's a $400 piece man. How much are you selling it for, let me at least dream about owning the thing. Let an old man have a dreams. Lol
This is amazingly delicate and labor intensive because of all the detail. I kinda want to try this, just need new dremel tips. Are you just drawing these designs on a scale photo, copying to a stencil and going from there?

I've seen some crazy custom builds but nothing like this.

Hi there konstantine, what was the spray you used to remove the paint? It looks very effective and useful.
Looks like “Easy Off”.
