So many people take trips to St. Louis from one, two, even three states away to attend a series. Cardinals Nation is much larger than people realize.

On Nado: IMO they should pick up as much of the salary as they need to to secure prospects. a couple decades of sustained success has meant that our draft capital has been pretty low forever. Why not buy propects by trading and keeping the salary like the mets did in 23?
Some Brewers notes. Curt Hogg, Jack Stern, and Dominic Cotroneo are all excellent follows on twitter and all talk about the Crew in different ways but Adam McCalvy is great too. Genuine concern over Joey Ortiz with how brutal his second half was. Real test will be if all the young guys can make adjustments/ who can stay healthy *cough*Garrett Mitchell *cough*. Also Katie is right Milwaukee on the lake is incredible

The Cubs let that whole generation go because they mostly suck now. Baez Bryant Rizzo Even Contreras and Schwarber are very limited in that they are pretty much bat only. They'd be worse keeping these dudes. Baez got them PCA. Rizzo got them Alcantara a top 50 prospect. Bryant got them Canario and Kilian who haven't quite performed yet.
It isnt a mystery why the pirates are bad. Trash ownership, their ace of the future cole was traded away. Skenes will be traded away in 5 years. They wont spend a dime to bolster the lineup. This window of a playoff rotation will be wasted.
