There s a correction in question no. 5 and 6. We have to find initial loss%.
5)If the sale price of an article is doubled then it's loss percentage is converted into equal profit percentage. Find it's initial loss%
6) If the sale price of an article is tripled then it's loss percentage is converted into equal profit percentage. Find it's initial loss%
Selling price is doubled the profit triples the profit percent is ?

Profit% = (1/1) *100 = 100%

For eliminating fraction in ratio... Multiply both sides by 8

In question no.4| selling one article is 37.5%more than the loss incurred when it is sold at other price.
What's reason behind taking denominator value 8 as loss ratio pls explain mam
Fraction value of 37.5% is (3/8)
If denominator denotes loss = 8 parts
Numerator denotes the increased part = 3 parts
So the profit part will be = 8+3 = 11 parts
@@RadhinaQuants Thanks for the quick reply mam. But in your previous videos you said in conversion of equivalent fraction value. Denominator denotes CP and Numerator denotes (P or L) as per question. Then why taking here like this?

No ma... Wrongly understood.. In 7th prblm they said profit % numerically equals to CP.. Which means CP= X then P% = X%. Again explaination parunga.. In 6th prblm question is wrongly typed... Actual question is find it's initial loss%.

It's based on the quadratic equation we formed.. If you solve these questions using traditional method u should form a quadratic equation and have to find solution. Using this traditional method, the shortcut is arrived
