The people who complain about singing at concerts are the type of people to stand there the whole time, straight-faced. Why even buy a ticket if you aren't gonna sing along and have a good time.
everybody complains about the crowd singing along but i think it's magical radiohead got me through so many difficult years, and hearing this music sung so passionately back by so many people who love their music as much as i do- it's beautiful
Two things that made me happy about this video: 1. The crowd are really enjoying themselves, singing along perfectly 2. Thom looks like hes really enjoying himself
+Stubby Cuts It must've been a surreal moment seeing half of Radiohead suddenly appear on stage as a surprise act and play one of their best known songs. I bet the crowd was massive?
I've never ran so fast in my life upto the Park stage. Caught them playing this, they'd been there for nearly half hour, they were F*CKING INCREDIBLE. Everyone was singing 'i lost myself' all the way back to the campsites.
I was there for this, it was on The Park stage. Rumours came across Worthy FM, running, lots of running, off to the right off the Old Railway Line, around a corner and into THIS. Turn around and realise 5000 people are suddenly behind you. Caught KP & Street Spirit, pitch black and they were gone. I LOST MYSELF being sung back through the campsites by about 3000 people for 2 hours. Nuts. They came back the following year as Radiohead on the same stage, it still didn't beat this. Can't beat Glastonbury!
This was out of this world! Chills allover my body, tears in my eyes! My favourite Glastonbury moment of all time!!!! So glad I found 30 mins before he started that he was on at the park!
Seriously surreal concept, busking in front of 10,000 adoring fans. Just as well there wasn't a hat laid out for contributions, there would have been casualties from the avalanche of coins.
Remember being there for this, got there just before this started, they then did Street Sprit, the stage went black, and they were GONE. 3:12 That chant went on for about, half an hour afterwards across the Park fields & on the old railway line by hundreds of people. "I want you to be my Dad, go on Tom, YEAAHHHH!!!". Memories.
@TheProtoss00 well poor you - i know if i was there i'd have been singing along. Thom clearly liked it too as he started playing the end of the song again after he first finished the song.
For an acoustic setting like this you really shouldn't sing along. I couldn't even hear Thom or Johnny on the piano. But I guess you just can't help yourself when you're actually there, lol.
wow some people should REALLY stop singing, but thats the difference between a good performance...and a good live-video this is surely a good performance, but it sounds more like a game soccer
Crowd are so hilarious! "I want you to be my Dad!" Thats brilliant
GetSumNutz 4 years later...
haha "I like your music." "I am a fan."
such civilized chants

I think this is what Thom really wanted from the very beginning. Just the raw love of music.
Best Radiohead crowd ever
Instrumental: Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood
Vocals: The audience
"I want you to be my dad" :DDDD
Jonny Greenwood is such a badass.
I am so happy I found Radiohead.
Im a grown man, but I do remember shedding a tear here.. For a minute there, i lost myself...

Thom Yorke said he loved me
villaparis2 Your very lucky I need him to tell me that!
Go to one of their concerts then and sing along they like that, but it's not as easy as it looks their very emotive songs

damn that is one good crowd !
That would be a great effect pedal- one that as you sing, it emulates a large crowd singing the song you're singing... 🤔🎛💰🦈🌪
0:33 « I WANT TO BE MY DAD🗣️ »
4:04 he so silly

It was a nice surprise when I was there because there were so many americans and australians.
To be a security is a sad job....really
I love the people singing off key and out of tune. They add so much to the performance.
i cant hear thom :(
