Pretty fun video! You might use the information you have now to see what you can achieve after some form changes. I think you could take a look at what your maximum stats for the following:
    Speed
    Spin
    Wobble
    Distance
Write them down somewhere. Those are more performance metrics than Hyzer, Nose, and Launch angles - though those are important for the type of throw. But I think with some simple form changes you can increase your speed, spin and distance, while reducing wobble.
For you the big major form issue I see to work on is getting that upper arm elevated. It's practically glued to your chest, so very little separation between the forearm and shoulders, which is a mechanical disadvantage. You fix that and it's an instant speed/spin increase. You're doing a lot of other things right, so it's not worth pursuing minutia before that one thing. I have this same issue myself that I've been working on, so I'm certainly not saying it's easy to fix, but maybe your experience in learning and playing this sport will help you. 🙂

thanks Nick! Yes, I am starting to look at doing some more work with the Tech Disc to see about making some changes... while hopefully not messing up too much. I am playing well and so it is a fine line between gaining ground and adding more confusion to my already noisy head :D Cheers!

@@ogdiscgolfer oh yeah, totally! That's been my challenge as well. 😂

I am 72 years old, and a recent novice to disc golf. I got a TechDisc months ago, and I have thousands of throws on it now. Unfortunately, I have never been able to throw even 40 mph, or faster than 700 RPM. So, I will just have to play within those limits. But my TechDisc has been very good at slowly improving my launch angle, nose angle, and hyzer. (I have never worried about wobble.) It is very dependent on the grip, I find.

I think the TechDisc is a great tool for helping us understand our parameters and give us the vision for ideal shots... and also help us find our bad habits like nose up etc... It can give us a clear understanding of our max speed/distance and also our average or regular speed, so that we can craft our game accordingly. So at 72 (awesome!) you can only throw 35mph or so... become the most dangerous 35mph thrower of your group. My Grandfather used to kick all of my uncles and my dad's rear end on the golf course while only being able to hit the ball down the fairway 150 yards max. But, it was always down the middle and his short game was unstoppable. Be unstoppable with what you have and let the youngster worry about speed. :D Thanks!

It’s all fun and games until you poke someone’s eye out.
