Thank God they got rid of bianca
ong 🙏
Actress did a fine job. She was an analyst who was mediocre in the field. Multiple times she made considerable errors which cost her contacts, team mates and family. Ultimately, her ambition to capture him alive is what led to her apparent demise. I say apparent because she had on lvl 3 armor and I wouldn't put it past the writers to have her be saved by his ex wife or former boss (guy who was replaced). She's probably in a safe house 😂.
@TheMediaPortal mediocre? did we watch the same series or what? Because she was actively sabotaged by her boss, remember?
The character wasn’t written that way originally. Either the director, or the actress really messed it up. Bianca became so unlikable it got in the way of the story
@cjsmith5787 Which part? She seemed driven. The actress elevated this story. Her mannerism seemed to fit being an analyst. Watch Lioness (by Yellowstone creator) or The Agency (fassbender) I would say she is a mix of both those characters.
How is Bianca heroic? She did everything in her power to gain knowledge of the jackal, sacrificed her team to get what she wanted, lied and deceived. Her husband left her because it's who she is, not who she pretends to be. She sacrificed her family for fame not justice. She saw what the Jackal could do and still went in the house and because of her arrogance her friend and her paid the price.
She had no redeeming qualities. She had a shot to save her family and her self and chose arrogance instead.
I very much agree with you on this.......thank you so much for this and i know im not the only one who agree with you
Using someone's daughter as leverage which later on got the entire family kill is not the right way to go.
While I didn't like her character, she was heroic in a lot of sense. Going after him in the house and connecting the dots to find he is in Spain were great things. Also that job doesn't come with fame. The minister and her superiors would have that. She at best would get a promotion. I think a better way to put it would be that her motivation was winning not justice.
@DrDiabolical000 when I meant fame, I meant in her department. The one who caught the one who always gets away. That's what fuels her, not justice. She put too many people in jeopardy, including her family. The writers did give her closure when she gave her reasons for tracking him. She can't accept defeat.
exactly, and that's what makes her a compelling character, right under the jackal himself with all his contradictions?? this vitriol directed to the only Black woman on screen is highly suspect, dawg
Genuinely one of the coolest tv endings in years. Sets up a cat and mouse chase between jackal and biancca just 2 end it in undet 3 mins. Brilliant show cant wait until season 2.
fr! It was so nice to see a lack of main character plot armor for once.
@lukecarroll19 Jackal is the main character. His plot armor is ridiculous. Two MI6 with assult rifles vs a silenced pistol. Not to mention the multi-car ambush.
Not to mention his escape from Croatia after taking 6 inches to back. Also, let's ignore the station cheif being on the payroll. The brother being strapped and his handler switching sides and calling at the exact moment the raid occurred 😂.
@@TheMediaPortal well he's the Jackal. It's kinda his character to survive unbelievable stuff. Plus, some of the stuff he survived hasn't been shown yet, but it will be explained how.
His exit from the bmw seconds before the explosion. This is plot armor so thick I'm convinced he could solo james bond, john wick, and rey from starwars after beating dom toretto in a street race.
Great ending of a season .
Very well end fight sequence
The Jackals skill was unmatched and I’m glad that he didn’t have to go through hoops to kill Vince and Bianca .
That shows that he isn’t the average Joe .
Bianca’s character was annoying and an excellent character to watch as she attempted to play cat and mouse with the jackal . But this episode showed that the Jackal isn’t to be messed with .
Looking forward to next season.
It’s been a long time Fargo s1 was the last time I saw a villain smoking people without being caught I’m glad the Jackal smoked that woman at the end
This show was unbelievably good however I don’t think Bianca was cast well at all
Let me guess she was supposed to be white? It's sad that in the 21st century, people still can't see past colour.
She played the character well. It just wasn’t a great character haha.
Loved it!! Bianca was a good character that i hated and the last episode was soo satisfying, because I thought she was going to get the Jackal. Can’t wait for season 2 when he gets the old git! 🙌
Tbh them chasing the jackal resulted in more deaths than just leaving him alone, especially more deaths of innocent people
Similar concept to high pursuit chases. Sometimes it's better to let them go I guess and track them down later when they aren't armed.
Im mad Bianca got killed off sucks. But if you have kids you shouldn't put yourself at risk lime that. I just feel bad for her family.
Fr this is what I found unbelievable?? As a mother why would you ever put yourself in that situation and leave your child motherless??
Thought the role Bianca played or at least requested by her bosses came full circle and now she was now an assassin (or at least what mi6 wants her to do, becoming the jackal )
Does anyone question right at the start when he was being chased how quickly he got away on the boat then the next scene he’s in a car , and right at the end who was chasing him it implied that he crashed or was crashed into .
Yea that was a bit annoying that it skips the boat and he’s somehow away in a car. Nice catch on her becoming requested to be assassin also.
Yea, it’s implied that the car crashes were an ambush from the rich people.
Ikr certain things felt very rushed
The end was a bit of a mess and super rushed
The end was what it was supposed to be. UDC✅ WIFE'S BROTHER✅ BIANCA ✅
I thought it reflected reality. When you go after a supreme assassin without even the benefit of official government backing and resources it is only likely to end one way. You come in all gung-ho and the experienced lethal killer punches your ticket almost as an afterthought 🤷🏿♂️
@@healthatonDisagree. MI6 is their version of CIA. They are all assassin's.
It took you through the jackals chaotic journey to complete the job, losing his family, his self preservation, while trying to survive. The ending took you through the jackals resourcefulness and adaptability.
Best in this series is Jackal killing UDC ( sheer skill & grit) , the conventional end had been disappointing. Now Jackal will pursue Calthrop ( Charles Dance) in Season 2
he is such a bad driver lol
I was going to say 'I dont understand why all the Bianca hate', because I was genuinely sad by her outcome, but...
Well, not me, I was in absolutely joy. I don’t know if it was the actress’s and writers’ intention, but I personally found her one of the most annoying characters I’ve ever seen.
@pedrod854 I let a giant sigh out when he took her out. So satisfying. She was a self-righteous cow
Bianca's death wasn't even meaningful. She didn't attract enough attention from the audience's, despite the efforts to play black power heroines energy, it was a miscast. Her life felt unreal and her presence too narcissistic.
Bianca's character did exactly what it was supposed to do, be the annoying persistent agent that you thought was going to end up catching him but ends up getting killed by him. That role was cast and played perfectly and they ended it perfectly, to say it was a miscast and that she didn't attract enough attention from the audience and her death wasn't meaningful is insane when she was a main character. It sounds as if you just didn't like that she was black.
she knew his name had to die
That character was WRITTEN the way it was regardless of the race, she was annoying, persistent, selfish etc. and the season was just emphasizing that fighting POWER structure is TOUGH, from the presence of corrupt officers to failing "Social Justice Warriors ". IT IS WHAT IT IS...! and the days of the Jackal continues...!
I was so fucking happy when she died, if that was the writers’ intention then they scored it with me. One of the most annoying characters I’ve ever seen.
@@ugglyyThat bitch was annoying af, glad she got a good old headshot and I never have to see that character again in my life, because the show was awesome and I’m looking forward to season 2. If the writers’ intention was for her to be extremely unlikeable, they nailed it, and I actually enjoyed hating her through the episodes.
Calling it right now. If hes being hunted by his former spotter from Afghanistan in season 2 im done lol
DECEMBER 2024
Well I enjoyed The day of the Jackal series one.
Shame about Bianca though, but it was a good twist as part of the last episode.
🇬🇧Ⓜ️🇬🇧🏴❤️🏴👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Bianca won’t be missed. Her need for power and notoriety blinded her from following her intuition when she walked away from the organization the first time. She read Isabel and still foo, ishly continued her pursuit in taking down the jackal. She was so right that she was wrong.
I'm not happy with the ending at all because Bianca didn't have to die.
I'm sorry but the whole connection Bianca made between the sniper victim's associate's sister's English husband was so implausable as to be laughable. Oh she has a wealthy English husband? We found him!! Ludicrous.
she traced the case of the crime boss in Spain that has a "higly skilled" sniper hit. which fits Jackal's skill set. specially the distance of the hit. that's how he got Jackal's brother in law's name (he was the suspect).
@@mirieshii1948yeah that’s ok the one issue I had was at the very start, I don’t care how good Bianca is she and everyone else would never ever ever notice that the suitcase was the sniper rifle, it’s simply ridiculous that they caught that imo
@@mirieshii1948 ok, so the fact he had a sister with an English husband is conclusive evidence? Try getting that one past a judge to issue a warrant!
@@adrianl7147the final mission was to kill him not arrest him, watch the show.
@@Justwatching-yc1sg it was the specific case of a "highly skilled sniper" that caught her eye. It's not about how good she is. She was fed the info as well. Since Jackal is the only one on record to hit that distance and long distances for that matter (because duh, his weapon is specialized); Bianca had a hunch it was him.
Bianka was big miscast glade she is gone
"One last time" When they kept saying I was ready for one of them to die. Bianca's death was so sad
She got a Family killed.
@@StanvilleBrown Why because she likes to win
I was in absolute bliss hahahaha
I still don’t understand what happened when he was driving and calling his wife. It’s supposed that someone from behind crashed into him, but they didn’t show anything 2:08
At no point did Bianca ever think “maybe I’m out of my depth here”
*depth
@ yeah I’m a bit of retard to be fair
MI6 is UK CIA. They are all assassins.
@@yurtyahearne9044*depth
Was it good that i desperately longed for Bianca's demise?
Bianca was my biggest concern, but not anymore 😉
I think in season 2 he team up with the woman who was hunting him i dont think she dead. This has been a killer of a series love it
She was dead, brother
Love the show
No way middle aged overweight “person” would catch a ex-royal sniper. The “main protagonist” is the worst I’ve ever seen. Terrible casting for that role. The same sec scenes are pushed right in your face, as you’d expect from peacock. It could have been soooooo much better with very few changes.
I felt like they made her unlikeable so people would root for Jackal more.
You are so right, imagine they had of got that character right and made it a REAL cat and mouse game, the scene when they are looking at each other through the mirror would’ve felt a lot better if the Bianca character actually deserved it
Biancas character should have been ex military guy chasing the jackal
@ agree, and actually have the character properly lose everything as they try to catch him, she never suffers consequences for what she does, gets her family back and in the same day she leaves them😂😂😂
This, all day long. THIS!!!
man.. This show made me want to reinstall the hitman games.
The actress who played Bianca almost ruined this show. I’m not sure if it was the director or her who decided to make her character SO unlikable that it was over the top, but that’s not how the character (who was a man in the books) was written
The character wasn’t written that way originally. Either the director, or the actress really messed it up. Bianca became so unlikable it got in the way of the show
kai cenat series
ai videos should be labeled
AI videos lmfao
I dnt think she's dead I think she played dead tell he left an drove after him an crash the car into him an tie him up somewhere an they negotiate to work with each other to find out who is dirty in the MI6 they working together
She's dead
You don't think she's dead? lol, well if she isn't dead they may end the show right now. That would be the end of his credibility. Best assassin in the world doesn't kill agent ambushing him in his own home? Yeah, that's not going to be sold to anyone at all.
@@vapotrini LOL. 100 percent.
@vapotrini lol I dont think she's dead either. Broken sternum from impact on vest. Saved by her old boss. 😂
Struggling with this programme the cast are awful
first
Bianca was miscast. I didn't enjoy her character at all and cheered when she died
