Eu tenho uma dúvida....observei que nem todos os modelos virago tem esse tipo de amortecedor monoshock traseiro...qual o modelo correto pra pesquisar ?
Hi, I don't know a lot about motorcycles, but I want to start and want to build my own cafe racer, I'm looking at a 90's virago xv750 but the rear part of the frame that holds the rear wheel (idk how that's called) is different than this one, can I swap it? make it look like this one?
Hello, thanks for the video. I'm a little confused. You guys say it's a 2008 R1- front end, in the comments someone mentions that you have to extend the stem or get one from cognitimoto. However Allballs racing doesn't show a bearing kit for a 2008 R1- they stop at 2006. Can you guys please clarify! Thanks
Hi Zen Miraflores sorry for any misunderstanding so the triple tree is from a 08 Yamaha r1 and the steer tube is too short for virago that’s why I had to extend it but you will only be able to use upper bearing from all Balls and lower bearing race you can use the original from your virago fork and will have to machine it to the right diameter to fit properly. If you want something easier then yes at Cognito you should be able to get the correct size steer tube with both bearings from them. Let me know if any questions. Thanks!
Yes you will need to either adapt your steer tube making it longer you can see it on EP2 or press in a new one from cognitomoto . Thanks for Watching!!
Question is why a virago 750 engine? The bike itself was butt ugly, and under powered! Everyone's different? I do like your shop setup though! Very clean and organized.
Hi Good Question!! It was one engine and frame we had laying around at the shop for a long time so had to use it for any good build although it might not have super performance it will look very nice! Thanks for Watching!!
What nobody tells you about this model is the starting ring gear assembly are absolute shit and useless, the sump plug has a magnet to collect the metal shaving from the gears smashing together................don't try and tell me anything about this model because I've pulled them apart from head to toe, l've been through this as I owned one and couldn't wait to sell it on to some sucker........don't buy one, they're crap.
Amaizing as always
Fkn ey.. Thank You for posting!

Amei o vídeo❤️. Por que vocês não fazem vídeos em Português? O Brasil tá carente desse tipo de conteúdo.
watched many cafe racer build and non of them even brother to rebuild the 30, 40 years old engine, they just repaint the engine and call it the day.

Great vids and great style! Too bad that you take those short cuts with the engine and painting. Why not do a complete overhaul and do it good?
