This is a one-take performance off my second album, "Heavy Is The Crown." This album is part two of a five-part novel series I am writing called, "From Windfall To Hell." All songs are composed, written, recorded, and mixed by Justin Bonitz, and I programmed the drum/orchestra MIDI.

not sure if this is intentional, but I like how he uses the spiral a lot, which represents growth and progress, and his albums are all surrounding a character who is on a quest to better his life
Thanks , this comment cleared up some things I was curious about .
I think that Justin use of the spiral has more to do with how Junji Ito saw the symbol. Something that can represent progress yes, but also spiraling downwards, further and further into madness.

True, but generally the way that I see it, Prill is not intended to be the "good guy" of this story. He is falling further from the little grace he started with, and by the end of this I think he is going to turn into a monster. Maybe there will be a bit of redemption late into the story, but I feel like he is going to hit rock bottom before that happens. He is going to destroy everything he cares about, and everything with meaning just to try to better himself, and he is not going to take it in until there is no truly redeeming himself.
I am pretty sure the name "Hungry Lights" is even an expression of this. As far as I can tell, a "Hungry Light" is a light that burns so bright and so hot, it has to destroy and take from the other lights around it to achieve even more. And I think Prill is going to turn out to be that Hungry Light. But Justin's story is very complex and music is subjective. But if I am right, I love a good tragedy anyway.
