I love me some Mark Harmon. How did this article NOT mention "Flamingo Road" (night time soap opera similar to Falcon Crest), or, his BIG BREAK as Ted Bundy in "Deliberate Stranger". I've seen some of his St. Elsewhere episodes, but I can't believe the article didn't mention his death on the show. Considering it ran in the early-mid 80's his story line of a doctor dying from AIDS after an accidental needle stick from an HIV positive patient made news all over the place. Seriously talented man with (most) of his priorities in check. I loved watching NCIS, but I could NOT tolerate the blond hired after Ziva left, so I am out of touch with that. I still reserve judgement on the dog thing. Not because I'm a huge fan of Mark, but because I've had dogs my entire life. Dogs can be tricky, you can have a completely docile dog that just responds poorly to a person, or a dog that is unintentionally antagonized by a person who just doesn't know dogs. Any number of things could have happened. This doesn't make the dog good or bad, it just means we don't know what happened. It's frustrating to me that people still just say "the dog bit, it's bad." No, that's not how that works. The best trained dog on earth will bite given the right set of circumstances. Edit: I will say though, that due to this reality it would have been up to Mark to make sure this didn't happen. So, that part is definitely his bad. He probably had an assistant watching the dog while he shot a scene or something. If you can't monitor your dog at all times, don't bring the dog. That's something I will concede to.
I mean the guy the dog attacked needed 15 stitches, that's no joke nor a accident in my opinion. Like you I've had dogs all my life. I currently have 3 dogs.
@@ClassicHarleyQuinn I simply said we don't know what caused the action and that it isn't an indicator that the dog is a bad dog. Depending on breed a warning shot can cause WAY more than 15 stitches of damage. An antagonized dog saying "back off" with a snap can cause way more than 15 stitches. My husky (currently have husky, pibble, shihtzu, chihuahua) has caused me to get 4 stitches just by going for a treat wrong and getting my knuckle at a bad angle, lol. Shit happens. And people saying "dog do thing, dog bad" with very little information are simply uneducated, even if they have 3 dogs currently. And you ignore my edit where I stated that no matter what it was Mark's responsibility to police his dog.
