@Jollo Jakar -- Agreed. Gotta wonder why Reid and other users provide us better understanding of Korg products than Korg does. Bizarre company. Remarkable engineering and programming, terrible marketing and support.
Do you have any idea how to shift the drum pads to use pads 9-16 on something like Recife? I used the editor to make scenes to do this, but my NanoKontrol won't shift scenes in BT mode. Very weird. It will send the right notes if it would shift...but it won't. Very strange.
My memory is that the battery life was pretty good. But I made this video five years ago and I don't own it anymore. : ) I know you'll enjoy using it, Raymond.
In Abu Dhabi, let's say you don't want to use the knobs for pitch, but instead want to choose repeat, do you just click on the repeat on the iPad screen to tell the knobs "okay your job is now repeat" or do you have to go into MIDI mapping on the editor? Just wondering if choosing the different parameters (pitch, repeat, level, etc) can be done on the fly.
Hi, do you know how to have these new controllers work in pick up mode, so the parameters don't jump to where the nob is set as soon as you touch it if the value is not in the same position?
Anyone know how to assign the drum pads? When I connect it only adds 4 sounds to the pads and 4 are blank but I cant find a way to assign sounds to those blank pads (connected with automapping on ipad)
Great demo, thanks. On mine, if I change the key, from say C to E, the scale guide doesn't change, it's just the notes get transposed. Is that the same on yours? It's a shame as I want to use this to help me learn scales on the piano.
I think Korg decided to transpose the notes to fit the scale pattern, so you only see the lights based on the scale when it is in C. This surprised me too. Disappointing.
Hi Reid, thanks for the tutorial. I just got my Nanokey Studio today but only have Windows. Is there a way of changing the Easy Scale mode out of Major 7 just using the Nanokey Studio?
This is amazing! Thanks for this video. One question, if one of the knobs is already assigned to function A (such as envelope), then you reassign a knob to a different function B (such as fx1), will the knob automatically remove A and do B only, or do both? This is a common problem with some other IOS midi mappings.
thanks for the great vid, I have just purcahsed the keystudio but I don't see the notes being played being lit up as they playback after recording. How did you get that working?
So we buy the controller then use an external j Keyboard to play it ? Then use a selector to ... select pan pots on the iPad ... hardly "hands on " is it ....
Thanks for properly explaining and demoing the nanoKEY. It offers a lot more than what it seems. The easy chord and scale feature looks killer!

You may just have sold me on this device...the way the chords and easy scale work seem fantastic.
Thanks for the video. Watched it for 2 mins and went to the shop and bought one! Now sitting at my desk getting my vibe on haha!
God damn it! While watching this video, I was compelled to buy a Korg nanoKey. I hope you are happy with yourself.
same here, burn in hell Reid
Robert Syrett just ordered
Hahaha! I just commented basically the same thing.
Abolute Bargain! No need for being sarcastic :)
You could have saved money. I sold mine long ago. : )
Love the sound at around 6:00 mark. That's a peach!

Dang. That chord functionality is cool.
Thank u Sr. ! Im planning to get this midi controller. Thanks for the tutorial...👍
Great intro, thanks so much.
Arp button? Curious, it seems separate from Gadget arp selection.
It is
I just ordered one from guitar Center. How’s the battery life on it.
My memory is that the battery life was pretty good. But I made this video five years ago and I don't own it anymore. : ) I know you'll enjoy using it, Raymond.
Will the scale guide show keys other than the Key of C?
Is posible to use the x-y pad as a mouse control? 🤔
how did you hold the arp on the nano?

Did you get any luck with this?
how can i connect it to a speaker if i have a iphone

I just got nanoKey, I'm wondering how to connect the knobs to Gadget but I can't... I dunno how
How is the velocity sensitivity? No one seems to show that in any videos. I hear nothing but clicking are the keys fully plastic??
18:40 to 18:45 ".. cos these are velocity sensitive..."
They are velocity sensitive, but don’t expect high accuracy. I have a keystep that is way more precise...
I was actually surprised how well this works. Key feel a bit sluggish but when I play a piano module it feels rather sensitive.
Thank you, great video. Do you know how Lexington is mapped?
Thanks for the video. What IPad are you using?

Those keys/pads are what's going to stop me from buying it. Why would they use hard plastic?
question if i would buy this korg nanokey studio, do i get the programm with it or do i buy that seperated?
Gadget is separate
i have the nanokontrol studio and it will not show up on device list in gadget le on a ipad 2
miditommy you need to buy the app for all the functions
dajjebajje Do you know if you have to buy the app for the electrics 2 and 2s? Thankyou
How are you running that keyboard at the bottom with the nano?
Awesome! Thank you for the info.
Thank you so much!) Good tutorial
A realy helpful Video. This Keyboard is so handy on the IPad
Great Review

I like it. 😉✌️️
amazing
FYI, BLE needs update to work with IOS-13, read here , www.korg.com/us/news/2019/112903/ , pain to do but it works so far
glass-GO not glass-gow :-)
Thank you.)Peace
Those keys look horrible to play
Well, I wouldn’t try to play Chopin with them, but they actually play a lot better than they look.
