I have 3 of these models, 1 still nib, 1 is crashed in pieces, the other is my regular. Such a fun plane. I run an old school K&B 60 Sportster, really like the sound

Hope you do….and post it here. I have one of these NIB. I’m getting some ideas. As they come in the box, they are not well suited to a 4stk, just don’t have the ground clearance. The stock trike gear is probably the worst thing about them. The nose gear is especially hinky..

@@donrichter3523 I did fly it with the trike gear a few times. Then I epoxied in 1/8” ply pieces to mount floats. After the float fly the front mount was in a perfect location for a tail dragger setup. An aileron rod was bent up for a tail wheel. Glued into the rear fuse and rudder bottom 👍

I just got one of these, came with an OS 91fs, seems to balance pretty well.
It came with some old school Goldberg floats. Did you have to glue on a bunch of weights with the floats? Mine had a ton of them, but I took them off for wheels, seems to balance almost perfectly with the 91.

@design2survive the 91 is a better choice. It’s supposed to be a 60 2 stroke or 90 4 stroke kit. I did have weights on my floats. No weights on its wheels with the 70 👍
