Anybody who is a fan of David Pawson, I urge you to watch his video entitled “believers in hell” Watch from 17:30. “You see God doesn’t know everything” David Pawson was a great Bible teacher. But on the topic of eternal security, he shows his Arminianism theology, and this is where it comes to roost. Arminianism fundamentally magnifies man’s free will (even in his fallen state!), and by doing this diminishes the sovereignty of God. And if you take that to its natural conclusion, you start getting way into the weeds… You start to conclude that God has limits when he responds to our choices, and he sends people to hell based on their choices, you start coming out with nonsense, like the above statement that God doesn’t know everything, and he waits to see what you will do. And responds in kind. Definitely worth looking into is the letters that Jonathan Edwards wrote to his friend, John Wesley, regarding this very thing, detailing the fundamental differences in theology. I mean for good reason, Arminianism was considered by some heresy. And you start to understand why that was when you look at where you end up if you follow that theology through.
We must allow scripture to interpret scripture. How does the Bible define being “saved” and “salvation”. How is salvation defined in Hebrew? Deliverance, safety, welfare, prosperity. That’s where one must start. We can’t allow the doctrines of men and religion to supersede the Word. We must study to show ourselves approved.
Sanctification is not a process. It's immediate. Growth is a process, but once we believe Paul's Gospel of Grace, we are immediately baptised into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13. Christ is already set apart and Holy, and In Christ, we too are Holy.
Positionally we are viewed as sanctified in Christ because of the atonement provided freely by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. But sanctification is also by grace as we as justified saved believers yield to the work of his holy spirit in us. This is a process. God bless.
At 1:07:57 Corey makes the claim of there being two different books (Book of Life and Book of Living) but Matthew 22:32; Mark 12:27 and Luke 20:38 call Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as living (present tense) even though their physical bodies had died long before that time.
The process is found below. The Apostle Paul said a person must "hear" the Gospel and "believe" the Gospel and then be "sealed" with the Holy Spirit. Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, .
In the beginning we are saved made alive who were once dead in trespasses and sin. God delivers us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of his son. That's just the beginning of our lifelong journey our walk our conversion. We are out of Egypt but not in promise land yet. Jesus said everyone in his kingdom will not enter the kingdom of God in the end......the son of man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. He who has ears to hear let him hear.....for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order Christ the firstfruits afterwards those who are Christ at his coming.....and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for him he will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.....marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all who are in the Graves will hear his voice and come forth those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.....according to scripture when rightly divided all truth pertaining to salvation there is a difference between being saved made alive our conversion in the beginning and being resurrected unto life when Christ returns judgement our resurrection eternal salvation. That's why it not only matters if we believe remain faithful to Christ. It also matters how we live our walk our righteousness now in this lifetime. Has nothing to do with keeping Torah laws or working for salvation. Faith and our actions together will be how we are judged in the end......

Is the new homework assignment up yet ?
Cory, have you ever listened to David E. Taylor? Maybe the worst of the worst.
John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." this is present tens you hath everlasting life if you believe on Jesus. Salvation isn't something you wait until the end to find out if you were good enough, repented of enough sins before death, no!
Sanctification is if I’m not mistaken
Hebrew 6:6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Spiritual mature Christian’s can lose soul salvation if they become unbelieving apostates. Paul warned about potentially being shipped wrecked in their faith. They will still be saved by 🔥 yet their lives work of wood, hay, and stubble will go up in smoke at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Peace.
Corey Corey Corey, THERE IS A PARABLE CALLED "THE PARABLE OF THE LOST SHEEP" NOW I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS GUY BUT TO SAY THAT "DO THE SHEEP EVER NOT FOLLOW" WELL ACCORDING TO JESUS YES SOMETIMES ONE WONDERS OFF AND HE WILL GO LOOK FOR IT AND TRULY REJOICES IF HE FINDS IT!
Ryan Ryan Ryan. Sheep wander. But don’t go living and following after strangers. Jesus said that. But notice this is a parable and it’s about a random shepherd. Also notice the shepherd went and brought the sheep back. In that parable the sheep is not lost but found.
@@smartchristians thank you for the reply Corey, I'm just keeping ya on your toes haha, I know it's just a parable, and I wasn't trying to use it as evidence to support that man's claims, I agree with your take, and I appreciate your wisdom and learn from and with you
1 Peter 5:5 "likewise you are younger be subject to your elders, clothe yourselves, all of you with humility towards one another, for God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble"
Love ya Corey
I shouldn't have said "if" because I believe JESUS says "WHEN"
When you become born-again you are sanctifed through Jesus Christ because of the cross. You cannot satisfy yourself its only through Him. You are forgiven and He sees you holy. Trust only in what Christ did and what He accomplished there and all the benefits. Aa soon as you repent and believe you are sacrified immediately. The Holy Spirit, Who Alone can develop Righteousness and Holiness in our lives works exclusively through the Cross!

I KNEW HOW WRONG THIS MAN WAS AND STOPPED WATCHING HIM
All he is saying is that it is not yet fully complete (14:38). Even you agreed with that.
How long does sanctification last? I put my faith in Christ Jesus the Lord 31 years ago just turned 54 honestly I think the sanctification process will end when that trumpet blows or when I take my last breath, than I will be sanctified when I put down the corruptible flesh and transformed into His likeness then shall I truly be born again, for flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.
1 John 5:10-11 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." The witness in 1 John 5 is the Holy Spirit see 1 John 5:6 "And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth." Pawson made God a liar because he didn't believe Jesus gives us eternal life. That's why he's in hell right now, he didn't believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. he made God a liar.
Another man who thinks that he can earn salvation is riddled with a works-based theology, and a complete mischaracterization as to what Jesus accomplished on the cross. I'm shocked. He should have been a Jehovah's Witness. He would have been right at home.
