I am a fan of both fighters, but Barbie clearly won this fight. Barbie definitely had the higher volume of landed strikes, higher significance strikes, more damaging strikes, better combinations, and Supergirl never really put her in any sort of danger. Honestly you could tell just by how the commentators called the fight, the bias was clear on who was going to get a decision victory no matter what.

If it was based on thrown Vandaryeva wins but Supergirl was in control advancing so she's not taking more hits she's walking into the hits but displaying dominance as well as constant deflection. Supergirl is actually winning the fight and it was a matter of time that Vandaryeva would be out of gas and Supergirl would of beaten her. Vanderyeva threw a volley and that should of done it but Supergirl still advanced. It could be age and the fight was close and had Supergirl lost it would of been due to experience not talent.

@@tatumergo3931 Especially in Muay Thai. In traditional Muay Thai the story arc is very important. Thats why you see competitors not throwing a single punch the final round and showboat. Its to tell the judges they did so well the previous rounds they can give up the final round. This fight is definitely controversial but Westerners need to also understand Muay Thai is a traditional sport and does not go by MMA rules.

In the first half of round one the commentators said Vandaryeva is looking for a KO because she knows she can't leave it to the judges. It's crazy to know that you literally can't win a decision.

I've watching a few videos of One Championship matches lately and I'm starting to see a recurring theme. It seems like they have certain fighters that they're giving the golden treatment. It's like the company have to protect their golden child. This match and the match between Stamp and Juniku clearly shows favortism. Supergirl and Stamp clearly lost the match but they ended up winning the decision.
