I took tours of wheelchair bound people from the USA around Australia ( I am also in a chair). We would struggle to get through the surrounds to his stage at the vineyard. He came up to me after our second visit. He said "This won't do. From now one come over to our home and have lunch which we will provide and spend the day as our guests. No charge". So we did. Great days! Each time we gave Ted a sum of cash..which graciously accepted the donated it back to his chosen charity. I truly believe no one else had an experience like us. A great man with a lovely wife Nerys (who could also sing by the way. Thank you again Ted!
Music and song writing keeps you young! I first heard Our Coach Captain song on a AAT King coach going around Australia in 1998. The driver ( Oops, I mean, coach Captain!!😂) played it every morning and we had to sing along which now brings back lots of happy memories, so thank you Ted for your amazing music and songs xxx
Drinkers of the Territory. As kids we loved that song - only time we could say "bloody" & not get our mouths washed out with soap. Times have certainly changed. Happy belated birthday Uncle Ted. You're an absolute legend. Beth Graham
