They say they didn't fully remove the game mode. We just have to wait until it's either available in the casual playlist or until next season when snowday will be replaced with dropshot - then you have to wait for snowday to be available in the casual playlist. However, I already miss queueing Dropshot whenever I want...
Crazy that there are hundreds of different game modes in fortnite but removed one of the main game modes in rocket league...

@@tonyhawksunderground2 The only issue with that is I'm not going to queue other stuff instead. I play 2s exclusively with my brother and dropshot when he's not around. I'll just open the game less often.

For all my drop shot lovers: Every few days there’s a drop shot tournament at 4pm EST. There’s one on the day this uploaded. Hope to see you all there!
Only problem with the tourneys are the players are highly inconsistent. I’m champ 2 in drop shot an 1 match I’ll get 2 diamonds and a champ a the next match it’ll be 2ssl and a champ. It makes no sense. I mean I get that tournaments have separate ranks but sometimes it’s wild.
Work full time this unfortunately isn’t an option for a lot of users:/ drop shot was one of my fav modes been playing it since I got rocket leauge and when I saw it was gone and with trading being removed I almost just uninstalled it

I agree that Dropshot is the best extra mode. It's too bad so few people played it.
Prob coz in lower ranks, it's 1v1v1v1v1v1 in most matches and just isn't playable, this drop shot in this video looks fun, but obviously playing with and against people who understand the game

Drop shot is my favourite playlist in Rocket League. So glad I managed to get GC right before Epic screwed it up.

@@chrispotter3190it has become a seasonal gamemode, they are switching it with another game mode next season and will remove it again in season 15 probably and so on for some reason I think

I can attest. I'm Australian and GC1 in dropshot. Queue times average 20 minutes and I get matched up with SSL and ESL tag holders frequently due to lack of players. Still my favourite gamemode in Rocket League though.

I honestly find it insulting that they kept snow day of all modes and gave dropshot the axe, it was literally so good for getting me warmed up on long aerials.
Dropshot was by far the best extra mode in RL. Somehow it was the most casual but at the same time competitive mode in RL. Whoever made the choice to remove it for snowday should be fired. Snowday is the same as every other mode...just with a puck. Dropshot was a totally different from everything else and added some variety

I didn't think they actually removed the game mode I just thought I didn't know how to work the new menus. Oh well I uninstalled the game for a number of reasons and that's just one more reason I guess.
