How many colors is this one launching in? I've seen the all black and black Grey one multiple times. This is the first time I have seen a white version.
Does anybody know if the Microkorg 2 can accept patches made for the OG model? There's a load of community made sounds, and if this thing cannot use them, it'd just be an insane missed opportunity. It also means no user of the OG model will be able to just drop this in place of their old synth and all patches someone made over time will just be unusable. Everyone says this has a new synth engine so I'm worried if this is possible or not. This might be a big selling point for me.
They felt somewhat similar to the MiniFreak. Not quite as good. But I've never actually played the original MicroKorg so not sure if they're dramatically better.

They mentioned it’s a whole new synth engine.. fingers crossed however

WHY would you buy this?....I have a Roland System8 that can virtually create ANY sound i want. What is the point of this board?
Its bitimbral, has a vocoder, a looper and is cheaper than the system 8.
