By default, the games disaster timer is set to every 15 minutes which is far too high in my opinion, especially with mission scripted disasters too. I’m not sure if you can change it after you generate the world but for the next series you should up that timer to the max ( I think max is every 60 minutes)
Maybe is a good idea to buy the military base to be able to spawn/despawn vehicles there and store fuel to be sold, even spawn a dedicated selling vehicle or something similar, just for convenience, you are rich now...

If you're looking to increase Production of Oil, Diesel and Jet Fuel, maybe Look into designing a Drilling Ship or Building your own Oil Rig out in the Ocean. If you're looking for some more Cash on the Side overall, then Cargo Container Runs and Mining Aluminum, Iron and Steel are your Best Bets. We know that Gold is the most Time Consuming even if it's the most Profitable, so that's just done if you need a Massive amount of Cash in one go every now and then. Also, Tsunami's count as Impact Events, like Torandos/Water Spouts, Whirlpools and Meteor Strikes as well as Rogue Waves. I don't think you'll be getting Paid for those two Doctors since the Event has passed, but then again, the Safe Zones are still Highlighted so to might end up making some more money there too.
I like the direction of the mission in classic career however the expansions really conflict with the core game. As far as classic career goes when they made changes the fuel cost it really changed the difficulty of that type of game play. Classic career is probably the most rewarding style of Stormworks game, keep working hard!
Soooooooo, if you had been carrying that fuel container by boat to get there and sell it. There is NO WAY your boat or your fuel was making it passed the huge wave right ? If you didn't have the ability to fly, you would've woken up on a different island probably haha ! This is crazy !
Full tank is better than nearly empty tank. Jet fuel is actually really difficult to ignite being mostly kerosene. Vapors are dangerous. Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.
Yup that basically happened to me yesterday with my co-op with my friend it was annoying my friend lost a heli to a tsunami and he still trying to find it it doesn't show on map for a reason
I have a question it this custom or classic or carrier? Because you have no infifnte money which means no custom, and you can go to 3rd person so no carrier. This means your playing on classic right, but if thats the case how did you get all the research points?

I suggest setting the missions spawn rate to 30 or 90 minutes (anything but 60) in the next career series so you will get some day-time missions
The tails look okay. It's function has given it form.
Make them rotate outboard 45 degrees in flight mode maybe.

they happen to soon from each other, which is why I change mine from 15mins to 40mins. So much better.

You just select classic at the beginning of a game.

Thats why i always turn the disasters off. They are just annoying :D
