Sadowsky sounds nice but the Epiphone sound surprisingly big and articulate like a big box long scaled to my ears, great!

They both were great. The Sadowsky has a softer tone but I still like both. Are you recording directly or through an amp? If so, what gear was used?

I'm recording directly into my laptop/interface...

Are you using rounds or flats on the Sad?

      I'm using Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds - 11's

      Thank you.
      One more question:
Do your strings use the plain or wound G? If plain, are you using the compensated bridge included with the JH? I also have the JH Sienna Burst and want to use TI Flats but I'm a bit leery about changing out the bridge.
      Thanks again

@@hamiltonburger4574 I am using a wound G - I changed out the Truetone bridge for the conventional bridge

Thank you very much for replying.
I think I'll do the same with mine.
I enjoyed your playing too BTW.

      VIOLA!!!
I just restrung my Jim Hall with a set of TI .011 Flats and it's the best it's played.
I didn't even have to re-adjust the intonation. Thank You for the recommendation!
