What I miss is the commitment to renting a movie from a video store. You looked for one you thought would be good and took it home. Once home if the movie was terrible you stuck with watching it because you put in the effort to rent it. Now with streaming if you dont like the movie you can easily change it and overall it just isnt the same experience. Anyways love your channel.
I used to go to video-stores with my partner, and we'd rent out a movie, buy candy, and get american sodas that you normally didn't see in the stores. Only once we couldn't finish a movie because it was so bad and cheaply made- more boring than good kind of bad. When there was a movie I liked and it had a cool poster, I would ask if I could have it, and they always saved them up for me. I still have them to this day. I don't remember what was the last movie we rented either.. but I do remember feeling bad that video stores closed/turned into candy stores.
I still collect DVDs and i have everything from horror movies and tv series (x-files) to disney to British to foreign language ( Swedish, French,Italian, German, Japanese, etc). However i never take anyone to see my media room because they are always so judgemental about all my Blu Rays and DVDs.
3:41 Ackchyually, that looks more like a Bowie knife (which would have been even more versatile, effective, and menacing regardless of the difference in blade length). Crocodile Dundee approves! Probably Skallagrim too. Also, Jason isn't left-handed in the movies. Wonder why they did the box art like that. 3:49 That theme music rules! Disco of demented do0oOo0oOm!! 4:37 Tourist Trap and Dolly Dearest are two of the best of those. More obscure than Child's Play.
We must save physical media say no to streaming its a con no one ask what will happen when they push the delete button like PlayStation and Xbox store Netflix and prime only have same boring crap
I never liked movies with people killing people, because that can happen to anybody. But when it comes to supernatural films, I know it can't happen. I love Freddy Kruger, and another one that I like is It. Can't really deside if I like the older version or the new one better. The older gives the nostalgia feeling, and Tim Curry is the best at pennywise. The new has better jump scares.

Exactly! You appreciated it more, even if you didn't like it that much.
Thank you 😊
It was prouder to get my first library card and my first video rental card than I was to get my first driver's license!
Who needs to drive when you can read?
00:50 "Oh no..!" 🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Just discovered your channel on my way to work-loving your videos! Will be binging them all today 🤣 Subbed and looking forward to the next one! 🧡✨
Awesome! Thank you so much! 😊
"You know when you go to a country and they tell you don't drink the water? Well if you ever go to Sweden, don't eat the pizza."
--I'm dead.
Haha It's true! 🤣
Anyone tell you you look like MacGyver. Your videos are great, can't wait to see more!
Yes, I actually got that once before! But these days it's mostly Joe Pera or Jeffrey Dahmer. Perhaps I should get contact lenses.
And thank you! 😁
I've been to Sweden. He's right about the pizza. (also, yeah, the House chick is freakin' terrifying--it's that damn voice)
We also eat macaroni with ketchup. It's like we're really trying to piss off Italy.

That's so cool that you got the posters! I wish I could go back in time and rent some movies.

It really bothers some people for some strange reason. I don't get it!
Du är grym ju... Fan vad bra videos du gör... 😋 Nostalgi tripp och även svensk kultur som man kan relatera till 😜
Bugar och bockar! Glädjer mig verkligen att du tycker det!😁

You are right! In my brain he always uses a machete but I guess it wasn't really established that early in the franchise.

You have a point!

I thought the new part one was pretty good, but the old one is way more unsettling somehow.
@chriswingerTV I kinda wanna watch IT now....yay, now I know what to watch tomorrow night
Maybe I'll give it a rewatch too!
Does Sweden really look so much like Southern California or Florida? I've never been.
Looks nothing like that actually 😅 I just thought it looked cool.
@@chriswingerTV Oh, okay.
@@chriswingerTV It does.
I swear, all Swedish pizzerias have the same shitty processed ham. Like, where do they even get it?
I'm not even sure it's ham 🤢
Wuh wuh wuh
Run!
8:30 - oh... My Goodness. I sure won't be needing coffee at any point today. W.O.W.
I'm not sure if I get it😅 The Zombie VHS part?
