most beautiful theme song I've ever heard!! I knew Mr Sutter was a great writer, watched every episode of the Son's & miss the show so much, but I didn't know he had so much talent as a songwriter, but hey I should have.Congratulations Mr. Sutter on a new hit show,I love it, but also for thst beautiful song. Also to the singer, what a beautiful voice!
+BoricuaPopa38 it took me until episode 3-4 before i stopped looking at the visuals and started listening to the song and that when i noticed it was him singing. great job with this song.
Full Lyrics (best I can tell from the last episode - 2nd part) Born with a heart, that could ache more than beat The mind of a killer, the soul of the meek Flock with no Shepherd, is a vulnerable game I can live without heart and without love, but I do need a name Father do you burn if your hand is in fire? Does your head spin with rage when fooled by the liars? King of the Kings, do you feel any pain? Do you feel any pain? Boy aimless and angry, friend hard from the day Left love at the crossroad, into a man that I hate I fight for the hope, that blood has a face To give me a kiss, for the fate that I wait Should I drop to my knees, scream your name out in vain? Tell me good teacher, are we all just insane? King of the Kings, do you feel any pain? King of the Kings, do you fell any pain?
What a shame if this show is really cancel.such a powerful show needs a second Can you please please bring it back and give it the publicity it needs to make it.
So I've been thinking on this since the first episode and asking everyone else who watches it I see if they think it's a Christian song and most say no an I agree sortove I think it's more of a plea to some entity or maybe asking their God if he has/had human traits and feelings? I have no fucking clue honestly.
The song and the show, both awesome! this song is just beautiful, I wish they would release the full version.
Ed Sheeran did such a good job not only acting but singing the song,Ed please allow us the opportunity to buy the song.

Thought the song would be on one of Ed's cd's. I want it. The show is all about Christ and frailty of a fallen world.
Is there a full version of the song? Love love love it
