Thank you, Damien and Schola Diffusa, for this lovely gift of music on Maundy Thursday, setting the mood for this very sacred weekend. If Palestrina were here today, I'm sure that he would say, "Perfection!" Love and blessings from Missouri City, Texas 🎶💖🙏🎶💖🙏🎶💖🙏
Your lovely music is so very comforting. This will be the first Easter without our beloved choir director, Lahonda Sharp, who lost her battle with cancer last August 23rd. We miss her so much! In the spring of 2019, only 2 years ago, we sang under her direction at Carnegie Hall. We are grieving especially during this Holy Week. Thankfully, we have a wonderful new choir director, and we'll be singing tomorrow night and on Sunday, carrying on as Lahonda would want us to do. Again, many heartfelt thanks for all of your heavenly, uplifting music! Palestrina is one of the best, and I'll be sharing this with my choir friends. Easter blessings from First United Methodist Church,. Missouri City ❤️
Thank you, Damien! Lahonda was so kind and compassionate; she truly had a heart of gold 💛. Palestrina was one of her favorites; this video brings back many sweet memories. I can tell that you also have a heart of gold. 💛. May God bless you, today and every day ❤️🙏🤗
This is stunning! But it doesn't seem like you guys are singing the lyrics above. After "tempore: something changes. Can you tell me what the lyrics are you sing? :) Thanks!!
Thanks! After "tempore" is "auge piis justitiam" - as written in this version from the Choral Public Domain Library: www.cpdl.org/wiki/images/c/c3/Palestrina_o_crux_ave.pdf

Many thanks, Althea. I hope you have a blessed Holy Week.
This is one of the best videos in RUclips. Surely, has only 51 likes. Maybe the people don't recognize when something with quality appears
Many thanks for your kind words!
