The grass always looks greener. The typical person in future decades might have to deal with environmental, political, financial, and social issues that we don't. But if uninterrupted, this type of tech will become incomprehensively more advanced with each generation of people.

They forgot to mention, that in the year 10000, they can create fully adult human bodies to re-download the digital consciousness back to a physical body should the person desire to experience "the real world".
That's a great idea, dietrevich. I originally had that in the content for the year 3000, but I cut it out to keep the video as well-paced as possible. It's tough figuring out what to keep and what to cut, sometimes.
By the year 10,000 our civilization will be in the stars and will not be anything that we can understand.
Human body downloading at that stage will be like ancient humans finding out about fire in that it will be rudimentary.

Just to clarify, I meant that the technologies hypothetically stated as commonplace or mainstream in 2050, for example, could exist anywhere from 2035 to 2049 as well. Full Dive VR via VR helmets and brain computer interfaces might exist around that time frame as well. But, I’m not sure any legitimate company involved in that space would claim a VR helmet would work as well as the “Nervegear” in Sword Art Online works so soon.

I predict everything you've said here bar mind uploading will happen by 2100 years. I suspect that by 2050 the conversation will be way far off from what we can currently even imagine.
You are underestimating the power of exponential growth which will apply to everything from ai to material sciences and human brain understanding as well as biology.

Total immersion will be the real deal. Rather than working on a suit, the future should look at being able to build a complete virtual body that simulate all the nerves of the human body. Data collected by this virtual body should be directly relayed to our brain. This will make the need of virtual reality peripherals obsolete. The mind should be able to switch from the virtual body to the real body and vice versa. It just like what happens during dreams, being in an awake state and a dream state
Yep, dreams are like the waking world where in dreams we appear and feel as if we are actually there! Like do you feel yourself lying in your bed? No! Do you see the inside of your eyelids? No! Do you however see the environment around you? Yes! Do you however (when lucid dreaming especially) see your feet touching the ground? See your arms and hands? Just feel and appear as if you are fully immersed within that particular reality, so to speak? If your answer is yes, then I am soo very proud! We should develop Virtual Reality where it is exactly like dreams!

I know this 2020s decade we will have 4k vr and i know that i look like future of vr because i'm a fan of virtual reality i know that some companies and others said we will have 8k vr in 2030s decade i know that we will finally have vr gloves that makes us touch feel virtual things in the virtual world which is mind blowing to me but the only thing i did not know is that will have to wait awhile for 16k vr in 2050 i thought we will get 16k in 2040s decade vr i wonder what resolution it will used if it will still used 8k or another resolution and i'm disappointed we won't have smell and taste in vr in 2030s i thought we was gonna have real true vr with smell and taste in 2030s decade i heard most say we will have that i will be like 60 something years old when that happens i didn't want to wait that long but oh well it is what it is hopefully we get full real true smell and taste by 2030s decade as well i'm crossing my fighters and it's hard for me to tell is gonna happen in 2100 but i do know the world and everything will be completely difference i know we will have flying cars around that time i don't know if i will still be here around in this world or not be around if i will miss out on it

I believe that everything you predicted for 2100 will happen by 2070. With digital immortality following in 2100, with what you predicted for the year 3000 happening by 2150, and universal simulation by 2400.
By 10,000 AD we would have left the galaxy and split off into billions of empires, earth long desolate or forgotten, we will probably forget where earth is located, left for another civilisation to emerge maybe we will crack time travel
The nearest galaxy to us is the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy and it is 25,000 light-years away. The distances to the nearest galaxies after that are vastly larger. Are you suggesting that humans will gain the ability to create wormholes well before around 5,000 AD for that type of empire building to be possible?

8k vr will be here within a year or so, and I can say that with certain. I say, all these should be about 5 years sooner if not more. For example, just think of technology 20 years ago and how it is now.

2024: Varjo, Pimax and Apple already have 8K great headsets (the cost a fortune yeah, but we have them) or you can by 4K+ headsets for a fraction of the price
I was unsure about the timeline of this video two years ago, i thought we needed more time, it turns out we are moving even faster than anticipated, especially if we think about how good standalone headsets are becoming, if they keep up like this we will probably have 16K headsets in 2030, but honestly... 8K is more than enough, even my quest 3 looks great and it has half the resolution
While for brain implanted chips yeah, they are already testing those on humans, which is great, but i don't think they will be very common 6 years from now, not for the tech itself but bucause there will be tons of procedures, public opion, testing etc befere that will be available to the people, and i think that will slow progress down a lot (for good reasons, don't get me wrong) but external devices that reads brainwaves why not, they are already out and used by some people, so i guess that the non-invasive way will be wide spread

The first VR with this technology will only appear in the market in 2027, being called "Google VR1".
2028: The first active real city in VR will be founded. 6 years later, it will become the New York in VR and 16 years later, Beijing.
2030: VR in 4K and 8K, the VR is still considered as a game, but there are real interactions with people such as Habboo Hotel and such things in VR.

Im back again and I've been thinking. Ounce virtual brains can be simulated in de virtual world and implemented to NPC's with them having unique personalities like Sao alicization.
Would killing them be moral? Do they really exist in the first place? I've been racking my brain. Maybe they would have laws against killing sentient NPC's . Because they will have back stories, families they go to. It's not as if they are acting this out, it's their lives. If one dies in a dungeon, family will notice etc etc.

That’s unfortunately an utopian view on the future that makes abstraction of the ever growing disparities between the rich and poor of this world. It also makes abstraction of those that will levreage security faults within that ever improving technology to take advantage of others. And that’s even not talking about the mental illnesses that will result from over exposure to addictive alternate realities.

I slightly turned down the music volume starting with the video about quantum computer use cases.
There will be no need for headsets, as before 2030 neural computer interface will have been established. The same goes for quantum computing and artificial super intelligence. I’m not sure where you get your info from, but Peter Diamondis has his fingers on the pulse of tech advancement perhaps better than anyone on the planet. I recommend you look him up.
I am doubtful we will see neural computer interfaces that will dislodge headsets before 2030. Now I think there will be advances in that field and we will see such systems come on line for helping disabled people in the next several years.
