I used to be super confused about how the whole turning things inside out and how the whole process makes sense but after making scrunchies which is one of the most simple things you can make, I definitely understand more where to sew and how it’s going to look when you flip it right side out. After watching many swimsuit videos I think I’m up for the challenge! Thanks for making bottoms with a non tie strap, I was struggling looking for one 💓

@@AdoptYourClothes thank you! The top was so difficult it took me 5 hours😅 I’m gonna try the bottoms now but a single strap haha.
      Update:
The bottoms are definitely easier to sew than the top haha. Thanks so much for this video such a blessing 🥰💗

Great video! I know everyone's serger is different, but after making a few suits, I always run into issues when serging down the straps when the suit is inside out. It doesn't want to feed all layers through my serger and starts to bunch. I have tried changing the feed dog settings, loosening my presser foot tension and still seem to have the issue. I am thinking maybe I should just cut/remove about a 1/4" of the elastic from the ends of the straps so it isn't so thick in that area. Perhaps you have some tips for making this easier. Thanks!

That is exactly what I do! My serger also can't handle all those layers very well, so when sewing elastic into straps I usually start the elastic a little more than 1/4 inch in from the end of the strap and when I get close to the other end I stop and trim the elastic so that it will be slightly more than 1/4 inch in from the other end. It helps a lot and it doesn't seem to be noticeable in the finished suit that the elastic doesn't go all the way to the ends!
