    A chiropractor can offer temporary relief - but permanent relief & stability is found in strengthening the muscles around the problem area to support them.

    • @Tyler_W
      @Tyler_W Месяц назад +1011

      This is true, but you can just as easily say the same about your regular doctors who prescribe medications. A lot of medical conditions would solve themselves thriugh exercise, sunlight, good sleep, exercise, and a healthier diet, no drugs as a lermanent solution. I have had a chiropractor legitimately help heal nerve damage from pinched nerves.

      Yeah, a Chiropractor's goal is to get you OUT of pain for long enough that you can STAY out of pain.

      I think chiropractors can work wonders, but should also be prescribing physical therapy to correct the issue in a more permanent way.

    • @AlphaPoppa38
      @AlphaPoppa38 28 дней назад +70

      I always see people say this. Can you show me any scientific evidence that this is true and chiropractic is any more temporary than surgery or physical therapy?

    • @mesk412
      @mesk412 28 дней назад +147

      @AlphaPoppa38 anecdotally, let's say you are having lumbar pain because of a muscle imbalance in your pelvis/hips. A chiropractor could likely straighten you out and pop things into place, but that hasn't addressed the root of the problem and you will likely wind up with the same issue again. It's treating the symptom, not the problem.

      The difference is a Doctor only has 2 options, Drugs that are usually horrible and addicting or Surgery. I’m so glad Stem Cell Replacement Therapy is starting to get huge so it can stop all these doctors and surgeons from only prescribing drugs or surgeries. I’m all for Doctors and Surgeons and the miracle work they do when the patients need it however I can’t respect the fact that they out down Chiropractors and make them seem like quacks just because they want to do it naturally. That’s how backwards this world is, I have yet to come across a Doctor or Surgeon that has said you know what, try a Chiropractor first or why don’t they work hand in hand with Chiropractors and let that be the first option and if that doesn’t work then move on to possible surgery. They work with Physical Therapists but that’s only because they need them after the patient has had surgery. The only way Hospitals will support Chiropractors is if they can make money off of them like possibly employing their own Chiropractors and then getting approval from the Government for Health Care to cover their Chiropractors so then they can make money that way too.

After missing a hole putting on my underwear, something so minor resulted in me not being able to lower my self on the Jon, get in my sports car and other stuff. Going to a chiropractor for a 90 min visit, I left the office being able to touch my toes. She even gave me advice on how to stretch which greatly reduced my lingering back problems. In my 50’s a chiropractor in Dallas knew I needed more help and recommended a great neurosurgeon who fixed my multiple bulges and a weakened left arm.

    I still remember the case of an almost 80 years old man who Fall down, had an undiagnosed cervical spine fracture for few weeks. He went to a friend of him who was a chariopractor seeking pain relief without sufficient image diagnostics. The poor man ended with a dislocated fracture, he was brought in my shift in the ER with tetrapareses,, paralyzed from the neck down. Because of his medical preconditions, an emergency surgical intervention was also avoided at the time and he died in 3 days due to respiratory failure.

      Some peoples arteries cant take the twisting/pressure and it splits them open or they throw clots and have strokes.
      I honestly, what is a chiro doing besides popping the gas build up in joints or stretching joints out?
      All of that can be done gently on your own with proper stretching/massaging.
      Im not trying to be anti chiro, i know some and theyre good people….but as a whole their profession is looked down upon by the medical community for a reason.

Yes, it can be dangerous, yes you can suffer permanent issues if something is done wrong. Thats why you want to do research before ever doing this, but sometimes the risk can be worth it if the pain is bad enough. Not only did it help me, but I learned that I had a bone spur on my first and second vertebrae, and its possible I may need to get surgery on my neck in the future. Surgery is a more permanent solution with a bigger possibility of side effects and such. Chiropractic adjustments are "Temporary" in the means that whatever happened to your body will, inevitably, happen again over time. Getting alignments and adjustments regularly (I do mine monthly for pain management but some people can easily do 3-6 months between) is quite beneficial. Also, since people commented on it, he checks reflexes to ensure he didn't damage the spine and also to see the difference in reflexes before and after. It IS risky at times (As is all potential medical treatments) but I feel that the benefit is worthwhile.

    A good chiro is THE BEST when there is a skeletal problem. I could hardly walk when 24 wks pregnant because relaxin hormone is a beast. My chiro got me pain free in three sessions. Kept going through all of my babies, over six years. No pain in all that time as long as he was putting my bones back where they should be! A good chiro is worth his weight in gold!
    So happy for this man!

      Also, chyropractice basicly releases the pressure on the on the vertebrae cervical or of the spine by just displacing them so thst some air can go in, but after some time that pressure comes back so its very temporal and doesn't heal just reduces pain for a short time

      The fuckery of your medical education gets the better of you guys. The self healing capabilities are extremely underestimated by "scientific medicine".
      Here are real results of a precise action, that gives results. A person is walking again. And you don't want to consider that a result, gaslighting it at once. At least look at it. If you add your physiotherapy, add healthy food, make this person walk in nature regularly and live a better lifestyle, he will heal a lot more. And you think that health lies only on the shoulders of those fucking medical bullshit scientists and your damn system, that works as a business for treating ilness, but not making people healthy.
      In short, you medical guys are a lot more delusional, that any other. And the thing is that these chiro guys at least try different.

      Yes but those who I call true chiropractic specialists will have you go to physio and other specialists after to help make sure it can never get as bad again but not everyone sadly get a permanent fix from anything and so chiro and physio does become a routine but ya chiropractors only work when there is something to recitation into place and then will have a physio help you keep it there either by fixing bad habits or helping your muscles keep it in place after the adjustment has gotten everything situated doesn't work for everyone but when it's joints muscles and even bones locking on each other moving them after figuring out how you should get them out of the area they shouldn't and back to where they should be but it only works if the parts can move and aren't welded together like some conditions also real chiropractors don't believe in that chiro can fix everything shit which isn't actually just something that is something only fake/quack chiropractors think been a lot of other docs I've seen been pretty quacky as well scarily X.X

      And all you surgery messiahs be talking like surgeries always work, when in fact it is just as risky and way more expensive than seeing a chiropractor.
