I really do love these two products!! I use them everyday in my morning routine!! I keep my vitamin c in the refrigerator which helps with the product from not oxidizing so fast. I also love that they both do work well with other skincare products!! And well under make-up!! I've used expensive vitamin c products and this one works really well for my skin! And for the price and being at the drugstore is pretty awesome! I can't even tell you how many bottles of both I've been through so far😂. Thank you for this video!! And I hope others will use these products too!! Just because their drugstore doesn't mean they don't work. Again thank you!!😊❤

I like L'Oreal but their skincare still has parfume. I have they can eliminate that very soon. I don't mind in the wash/soap because you rinse it. But for stay-on-skin skincare, I would prefer non parfume option.

Nikkia, have you changed your skin care routine since being pregnant? I’m a few weeks ahead of you and had to go through all mine to make sure none had Retinol. Pretty sure these 2 are good options so I’ll keep it in mind for serums 🥰

Hello , I use the same vitamin C and just purchased the hyaluronic acid serum. Vitamin c on dry skin first, so do you put on the hyaluronic acid right after while the vitamin c is still damp as the H/A has to be used on damp skin so confused . Sorry for long question 😅

What drug store moisturizer do you recommend?
The vitamin C needs to be in an AIRLESS POMP in order for it to still be effective and that one is not, as you yourself said that when it’s expose to air it becomes less potent and will not be effective. But I love you though and congratulations 🥳 on expecting.

After that last video, I bought both L'Oréal Paris serums as well as the Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance. I used those 3 together (on clean exfoliated skin), and it peeled like NOTHING else! 😱 I also have oily skin, and I bought them for the very reason you said; to be able to wear under makeup. SO disappointing! 😢 Any ideas as to why that is? What can I do?? I really want to use them, but I bought them for DAY WEAR - not night. Am so close to throwing them out. Please advise me! 🙏🏽

Same thing happened to me, tried the vitamin c serum in multiple different combinations and it peels off. After doing some research I’ve read that it might be because it has dimethicone and this doesn’t seem to work very well with water based products ( which I use for my dry skin ). Not sure if this is true or not, I’m not an expert, but it would be nice having this mentioned or explained in the reviews

Both beautiful products that I love however I was told by a skincare professional not to use the vitamin c serum whilst I was pregnant as it has salicylic acid in it too which is not safe during pregnancy.
Strange, my doc didn't say anything when I was pregnant - *high* concentrations, I can see. But typical OTC products applied 1-2 a day, it's effective for those of us that have oily skin & acne not much better than in our teens. I just turned 50 & it's only in the past 6 months that there's been a noticeable decrease in oiliness in my skin vs my teens/20s or pregnancy. The only thing Pregnancy did for me was a few less zits & my asthma was better.
My foundation just balled up and I basically had to wipe it off. What did I do wrong??

I believe Nikkia used to recommend the Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide serums (2 diff ones, each USD$12 ish) I've been using those & been really happy w/ them.
One thing on the upside for these 2 products though - is they should go on sale a bit more often then other high-end stuff, so that should knock off some of that $35 tag.
